The new owners of the Hairman have done a wonderful job of giving the building a facelift, as well as providing quality service, making the whole hair-cutting experience enjoyable. I came in as a walk-in and was helped immediately. The cut was quick, professional, and reasonably priced. If you are looking for quality service in West Lafayete, the Hairman is the place to go! more

Best in Lafayette/West Lafayette 4/8/2011

New ownership/management. These girls are AMAZING. My first time visiting Amy (co-owner), she was able to fix a dye job from hell (that was obviously done at a different salon) in no time at all. She and the other girls make me actually look forward to getting my hair done now instead of thinking of it as just another thing that needs checked off the to-do list. They are all so friendly and talented at The Hairman. I will never go anywhere else! more

The Hairman-Experienced, Fast, Affordable, and Friendly 4/5/2006

Soon after moving to the Lafayette area, we set about on our quest for a great place to get our hair cut. I've had some bad hair cuts in my day, so it really is important to find a salon you trust. Fortunately, we didn't look long before we noticed The Hairman. I have Jerry O'Brien cut my hair on a regular basis. He is the owner and gives great suggestions! The Hairman has a great staff who are friendly, fast and all very experienced. It is very cost effective, too. Plus, with 6 cuts you get your 7th one free!!! more

Hair Cuts 9/29/2005

Jerry at the Hair Man is skilled at cutting hair. He is willing to give advice on styling and coloring hair at home. His prices are quite reasonable. At only $14 per haircut, I consider the Hair Man the best place to go in Lafayette. I love the wash, brush, and go style. more
