Best

I moved to Southbridge from New York and was apprehensive about finding a place to take care of spa services. I was so happy to find such a professional, friendly, relaxing place...

Worst

I have friends and family with physical limitations who would love to go to this Spa.

Big city services and small town prices 6/7/2011

I moved to Southbridge from New York and was apprehensive about finding a place to take care of spa services. I was so happy to find such a professional, friendly, relaxing place right in town. My schedule is really tight, and the ladies always accommodate me as quickly as possible, sometimes right away. I have horses so occasionally have to show up looking a bit windblown and dishevelled due to time constraints. I am always reassured and welcomed, and reminded that that's what I'm there for - to unwind, relax and be pampered. Ten out of ten for offering top notch service, while not forgetting to be kind and hospitable. more

Southbridge/Sturbridge's Best 10/10/2010

I have visited this establishment and received many services including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and hair cuts. Despite being located in an area from from being associated with fine personal care and health spas, this place is remarkable! I would stand by this establishment for all of the services it has to offer and am truly glad that it is located closer to where I live to that I do not have to travel far to experience such relaxing, professional care. more

Southbridge's Best Salon 10/6/2010

Hair Gallery is one of the best salons in the area it's unfortunate that mgshears (a substandard employee that was fired from HG) tries to cast a shadow on a great salon best thing to do is try it for yourself and BTW HG employs only female massage theripists now! more

great experience/reasonable rates 11/9/2009

I've often just ""popped"" in there because of my crazy schedule. I've always been treated super kind and very impressed with all my services: haircut, hair style, ear coning, massage. The price is right and I'm going back..maybe today! Pros: comfy atmosphere, friendly staff Cons: only that all women can't afford to pamper themselves more

You heard mostly right, I am she. 5/2/2009

I was looking for a friends spa when I noticed a site for the Hair Gallery. I used to go a few times several years back and I see someone has written something regarding my experience. I was the victim of a sexual assault by former massage therapist Richard Wilson at the Hair Gallery. I do not blame the spa. The man was well versed in grooming his victim, manipulating the situation to make me appear less credible and he had no prior record. He was good at the abuse he did, I do not believe I was the first. By the end of my session, his hands had covered every inch of my body and all I could do was close my eyes and pretend it wasn't happening to me. When he finally stopped, I slapped a half-assed smile on my face, paid the bill for fear of retaliation and pretended like nothing happened as I wasn't going to tell anyone. I just wanted to shower and forget the whole thing. I ended up confronting the issue eventually but was not believed as there was no proof, (word against word), and the massuese had already manipulated a story to discredit mine. I didn't expect the business to drop him but he wasn't suspended until 10 days later - he had touched more women with his abusive hands. I eventually went to trial, knowning it would only be a personal win for my internal spirit. My only hope is that all spas research and monitor their massage therapists, and provide protection for their clients when an accusation is made, keeping that protection until otherwise found in favor of the therapist, as it is only fair. Pros: Small getaway Cons: unknowing of how to handle a situation of extreme measure more

great salon and spa 2/19/2009

let me just tell you how happy i am... i use to go to worcester to all these high end salons and spas n i enjoyed it but to travel to worcester from southbridge was not relaxing!!! i found my place at Hair gallery salon and spa.. right in my back yard...now i dont have to travel.. and i can go straight home and relax instead of travel 1/2 hr 45 mins... love it..the employees are wondderful, they greet you as you walk in the door!! ive been in three to four times now n tried several different services and each time ive been greeted by my first name i found that very comforting. ....i will be back Pros: reasonably priced Cons: i didnt find hair gallery sooner more

What goes around. 9/21/2008

I'm not surprised to see a bad review at the Hair Gallery. But I am surprised the owner would bad mouth clients and give away personal information...especially when she hired a male massage therapist who I heard sexually assaulted one of her clients several years ago. ...And she did nothing to help the poor thing. Shame on her. What goes around comes around and soon she'll have enough bad-mouthing of her own business if she keeps that up. Cons: not professional at all more

The Hair gallery 10/30/2007

My experience at the hair gallery was most unpleasent. The propriater /stylist was 35 minutes behind and portrayed an unprofessional appearance. My girlfriend and I were having our hair done, I was there for over 2 hours, and saw the owners many faces. She repremanded an employee out in the open, not once but twice. And bad mouthed a few clients after thay left, as well as pointing out very personal info. about her receptionist. It was a horrifying experience. I would NOT reccomend a trip there. more
