Hair 2002

I was visiting in town and needed a short notice color refresh. Hair 2002 provided me a same day appointment on Sunday when everyone else was closed. The staff were very friendly and Fran took great care of me! Highly recommend! more

Well, I was feeling down lately. I went in just for a relaxer. Or too see what we could do. I have REALLY curly hair. I would recommend my stylist to anyone! He actually made me cry because of how good I felt. I looked entirely different. And now I'm going to be a regular there! I'm getting extensions a lot more now. I think they really suit me. So, I'm going to get a job and save up to get extensions. And he boosted my confidence! He's the one that looks black or hispanic. I'm mixed myself, so I had fun as he did my hair. I'm almost positive his name is Fran. Anyway, he loves making people feel great! So I highly recommend him. He's really nice. And gives you a great deal! more

I would recommend Kimmie to anyone who wants a modern, cool hairstyle. I am always completely satisfied when I leave whether she cuts, or colors, or just blows dry. She is amazing!! Appointment system needs a little help...I have witnessed overbookings and wrong dates, etc. Front of the salon could use an updated look and more seats...it gets crazy when it's busy. Standing room only. Go to Kimmie if you want a great hair style!! more

I called to make an appointment with Fran, he had no openings for the day I could squeeze in a hair cut. I went in and had a blonde lady cut my hair. It has been close to 6 months ago and my hair still has chops and uneven. It is by far the worst cut I have ever gotten in my life!!!! Read the reviews.... Make an appointment with Fran. If not you may end up with a crap cut that you have to deal with for months and months like I have!!!! more

Ive been looking for a hair stylist to stick with one person who knows how to color and cut your hair and can do it great everytime. I think I have found him. Fran from hair 2002 did a wonderful job on my hair and really did everything I asked for plus more. Ive previously been in hair saloons for 5-6 hours or more due to my long hair, but fran had me in and out in half the time and it looked 100x better. Thanks fran....Ill recommend you to everyone. more

If I were you id make an appointment with Fran@ Hair 2002 ! In live in Annapolis with boutique like higher-priced salons but would make a day trip if necessary to get to Fran's chair. Fran is a true color artist he puts his talents to work every time he does my hair. All my referrals to him are now repeat clients all who travel from Baltimore, DC and other parts of AA County to see him. Love Love Love my hair ! more

Went today and asked for a scissor cut on the top and a buzz on the sides...A very simple cut but Phil couldn't handle it. He decided to not listen to what i wanted and go his own way and butcher your hair. He is terrible and will rush through your cut. While I was getting my hair washed he managed to get water ALL OVER my face and some shampoo on my shirt. Oh and he got hair all over my shirt too, that was comfortable. He blows and needs to find another job seriously. more

Hello to all, I am a Certified Peabody Institute Percussionist / Drummer, that has lived on the west coast most of my life. I recently had to come back to Maryland to take of of an elder. I DO NOT just let anyone touch my hair, and I tried to do my research before going to Club 2000. I must say that my hats off to Fran and I highly Recommend this stylist if you want to walk out with that rejuvinated feeling. He did an awesome job and I will continue to go back until its time to go back West.........I applaude you my new found Stylist!!!! more

Made an appointment two times in a row and both times I had to wait at least 45 minutes to be seen. What's the point of calling ahead? Took my son to Cartoon Cuts and was waited on right away! If I didn't like Phil so much I would never go back! more

I have gone to Hair 2002 since they were at the Glen Burnie Mall.There is an awesome stylist named Teri who gives the best updo's.My friends and I have not missed a Homecoming or prom without seeing her first.She listens to you and even suggests something great.I just tell her what my dress looks like and let her do her thing.What a great human being she is.I couldn't recommend any better.She also gives a great cut and color. more

I've been seeing him for 2 1/2 years, i use to see my aunt.terreaca there but i saw Frann and hes been doing it ever since! hes worked with Americas top hair stylist and does many competitions and even wants to do my hair in one. I referred a friend to this salon after getting a haircut there because I thought the prices were good and I liked the cut. My friend decided to get color & highlights. After her appt. she was very upset over her hair. There were bleed spots all over the place and it looked terrible. She went in the next day to get it fixed and the stylist gave her attitude instead of apologizing. Long story short the stylist ended up messing her hair up more. My friend was in tears and just wanted to get her money back and they would not do it. They insisted that she have another stylist work on it. After 3 visits to the salon, she left with brown damaged hair. The salon needs updating badly! There is no ""customer is always right"" service there. They have the attitude that, if you don't like it, don't come back. I won't go there again. more

I used to be a regular at Hair 2000 in GB Mall 20 years ago. Followed my hair stylist on her journey of her own shop. Unfortunately, that ended and I moved on.\r \r While at the mall one day, I passed by and thought I saw her in there again. It turns out I was right, it was her. I quickly made my appoint for a cut and color.\r \r I hadn't received compliments on my hair in years, until she once again was styling it (this was the first time I used her for color as I just started a few years ago w/that)...\r \r Compliments out the wazoo!\r \r Thanks Joyce!!!!!! more

OK, so I call on a Sunday morning and ask for an appointment. They got me in. I was told by a friend of mine to ask for Fran, so I did. I went from grown out layers past the shoulders to an amazing inverted bob. Although Fran specializes in color, he gave me an AMAZING hair cut (pictured in profile pic). A complete stranger in the hair salon raved about my haircut and I've received numerous compliments from my friends as well. He's off on Mondays and Tuesdays. If you're looking for a great haircut at a really good price, go to this place, but remember to ask for Fran. The wash, cut, and style was only $25!
