Habanero's Grill

My family and I have been going to Habaneros (At the Rim) Since April of 2007, and we absolutely love it. The people are always friendly. The food is GREAT! It has a beautiful atmosphere, and is very reasonable priced. Its in a great location because it is near Six Flags and the Palladium movie theater. The staff make you feel like family when you go in. I know that my family and I will be dining there for years to come. Anyone who hasn't check Habs 2 or 1 out yet should soon. My favorite time to go is evening right when Six Flags is starting their firework show. You can sit out on the porch in the evening air and enjoy a Yummy! Burrito ( or one of many other delicious menu items ) and watch the firework show! Pros: Just about everything. Cons: Should be opened later on weekends. more

Habanero's Grill is by FAR my favorite laid-back place to meet friends and have some amazing food in all of San Antonio. I have never once been disappointed by quality, service, or atmosphere; and I am more then confident that everyone who walks through their doors will sing their praises as well. -- \r The food is spectacular- from their signature oversized, ""peel as you eat"" burritos to my fiancee's favorite, the fajita nachos, everything is incredibly delicious- not to mention well-priced. You won't find any overpriced plates of food in this joint- Habanero's Grill is entirely too hip to cater to that scene! -- \r And speaking of hip, if you arrive on the right night, you've got a chance to be serenaded by local artists strumming it up or tearin' it down. So you could be in for a real treat if you happen by on the right night! -- \r \r So as long as you're looking for wonderful food that'll leave you wanting more- an amazing place to hang with friends, coworkers, or family- somewhere where the employees are MORE then friendly- and a place that won't tear apart your bank to eat there- and be honest now, who isn't looking for at least ONE of those things in a restaurant? -- \r Then Habanero's Grill is THE place for you! -- \r \r And with their second location now, you ain't got no good excuse to not at least go check 'em out. ;) Pros: Quick and friendly service, Great prices, Flexible menu (Add in this/take off that), PLENTY of seating, Great atmosphere, Very clean! The burritos got us hooked on this restaurant - great ingredients in delicious combinations on fresh tortillas made right before your eyes. Some of our favorites are the fajita-rito (fajita meat with grilled onions) and the gringo-rito (grilled chicken with lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole). Then we discovered the salads, the soups, and when our little boy was old enough for his own meal, the tacos. The food is as affordable as it is delicious.\r \r The service at the cafeteria style counter is fast and friendly, and the staff has always been happy to accommodate any special requests. The toughest thing about going to Habanero's is deciding what to eat. We usually sit inside, where the walls are covered with colorful murals, but the tree-covered patio is just a beautiful. Unlike Chipotle's rather antiseptic atmosphere and ho-hum offerings, Habanero's is a truly unique not-to-be-missed San Antonio experience. For my money, Habanero's Grill is a 3-time winner! It's burritos are delicious; its cuisine is healthful; and the speed of its service is 2nd to none!! And you won't have to break the bank to feed your entire family at Habanero's, either. Michael H. Patterson more
