I highly DON'T RECOMMEND shopping for mattresses at Haaga Mattress. I've had the worst experience with them. They were having a sale Thanksgiving weekend where if you bought any mattress for $499 or higher you would get a free 22"" HDTV and they had a king bed set advertised for $499 on the same ad which is what I was shopping for. So I went to their first store located on 2100 South in Salt Lake City and the lady first claimed that they didn't have any king beds for $499 and that the free TVs were only if you bought an Englander Bed Set, which the cheapest one they had in a king set was $1200. So right away they were claiming false advertisement.
I called the Orem location and they finally agreed that they were giving out free TVs for any mattress $499 or higher and it didn't matter on the brand. I went to the Orem store and he showed me a cheap-looking, different King set for $499 than the one I really liked in the Murray store, but he did say it came with a TV. I told the saleman that the one I tried out in the Murray store that I liked for $499 was a pillow top with foam memory in it. He called the Murray store and found out which bed it was that I tried and agreed that he could do the same mattress for $499, but I would not get a TV!!! At this point I've very disappointed and annoyed. I agreed to get the more comfortable king bed for $499 since that's of course more important than a TV, but they should have still honored their advertisement. He did throw in free delivery and a free king size sheet set......but wait....
I call for the next 8 days to see when my fabulous mattress is going to be delivered and they tell me each time that they need to wait for their delivery truck to come in before he'll know when they'll be coming to my place and he would call me back and never did.
I get to the store and my order was messed up. All that time I ordered a king bed and he had me down for a queen bed as well as the wrong kind of mattress. The guy claimed he didn't know what happened and who did the order, when I told him it was him. It was the exact same guy and I told him I even had the free king sheet set still in my car if he wanted to see them since I wouldn't get a king sheet set to go with my supposedly queen bed I bought. After arguing with him for 20 minutes or so he finally said he could give me a completely different mattress that I wasn't interested in and after arguing some more gave me a king mattress that looked and felt like the one I originally ordered, but it's going to take a week to come in. So, we'll see if the right one comes in next week or not. I still don't feel like the original bed I liked from day one was there when I went back to them today because it was a Spring Air mattress before and now today it's an Englander and he claims that's the one with the memory foam.
Moral of the story...1) Don't go to Haaga Mattress. 2) Don't just check the price of the receipt, but match the receipt description with the tag of the mattress you tried out in the store to make sure they match and make sure they ordered you the right size. 3) Make sure if you want a King that it really is a King size and not California King or visa versa. I'm going to be making sure this is right when i go pick it up because if you go to their online store and click on their king size mattresses the dimensions are for a California king and not a regular king as stated. 4) Have them write on the receipt any other perks they agree to give you at the time of the sale; i.e. free delivery, sheets, TV, etc.
