Good program, bad business 10/20/2010

I'm very torn about how I feel regarding HMD. My son attended for 1 year & had wonderful training there. I believe he learned a lot. Hours and location are very convenient. The business end has much to be desired. Lost contracts, checks, overcharges, charges after contract ended. I'm very disappointed that the financial end left such a bad taste in my mouth after I had recommended several people to HMD. more

  • HMD Academy of Tae Kwon Do in Savoy, IL, serves as a place where self-defense leads to personal growth. We are a non-combative, non-competitive Tae Kwon Do Academy dedicated to redefining Tae Kwon Do as an art and not only as a sport.

    We acknowledge that all students are different, having varying skill levels and different physical strengths and needs. Established in 1986, HMD Academy of Tae Kwon Do facilitates improved flexibility, a cardiovascular workout and self-defense. We also help students to focus and improve schoolwork, leadership skills and self-esteem.

    Some students wish to learn self-defense while others wish to decrease their anxiety or depression. However, other students still want to increase their confidence or self-discipline. Some students are just looking for good exercise and fun. Join us.
