Excellent cut & color for curly girls! 9/1/2009

I've had my hair cut by Jimmy for the past couple years, and I absolutely could not be happier. He has curly hair himself, and appears to truly want to listen, understand, and deliver for his clients. Each appointment begins with a dry hair consultation, wherein Jimmy pays close attention, even though it may be the same thing I say each time. He is open to any questions or concerns I have, and never appears rushed. Pros: Expert styling, cuts, and color; Top-notch customer service Cons: Jimmy & Nick *don't* live where I've had to move! more

I feel and look 10 years younger...... 12/1/2008

First visited Hip back in late August of 2008. Decided to get my hair colored and cut there. Hip was recommended by a coworker. Really like the new me, Makes me look and feel 10 years younger. Rachel added subtle tones to my natural color and my stylist Norma gave me a sassy style to go with it. This establishment has won me over. Just returned to get me color redone, even after just over 12 weeks the cut still holds its shape. Excellent work, thanks Rachel and Norma?.. Pros: Parking is no problem, Wifi to check my email on. I have been visiting Hip since its opening in 2005. Pros: Great service! Cons: Its somtimes hard to get an appointment more

This is a Hip salon! 5/30/2006

I have had trouble with finding a salon that can color my hair the way I like it. I tired Rachel at Hip and have been very happy with the outcome. She applied excellent highlights, the color has not faded thanks to the Pureology shampoo she recommended. I will be going back again.......... Pros: Excellent work done, Helpful staff Cons: Small waiting area more
