I have gone to Gyros Delight now for a few years, and I absolutely love it, the Chicken Souvlaki, and you get the most wonderful flavorful rice and sauce with this too, oh, and a wonderful greek salad as well, I always order extra pita bread, and their wonderful hot sauce, their prices seem to go up too much, but the food is to die for!Andy Corona more

A place to get gyros and chocolate Baklava! 2/19/2010

I must admit, I was a bit iffy about trying Gyro Delight. It's a small restaurant on the main drag in Lynnwood (196th) and looks like it would be a little....run-down. However, I was pleasantly surprised walking into a clean, friendly environment. The atmosphere is simple, making Gyro Delight more of the fast-food of Greek Cuisine. You can order your Gyro Chicago style or...not (still not sure what the difference is). I recommend getting it with feta, which costs a few cents extra, but adds more flavor. And if you like onions, boy are you in for a treat. You might encounter a few large chunks here-and- there and biting into the tear-jerking vegetable might make it difficult to enjoy the rest of your gyro, so be careful! One item on the menu which, I believe sets them apart is the chocolate covered Baklava. It's rich, it's sweet and nutty and just down right awesome! Although, make sure to share with someone because you might be induced into a sweet coma if you finish the whole thing. All in all - it's not a bad place if you don't want the run-of-the-mill chain restaurants in Lynnwood. Pros: clean, friendly Cons: Fries get soggy if you get take out. more

Not so great anymore, apparently... 8/7/2009

I've only eaten Gyro's on a handful of occassions, but from my experience, I've loved the food. Until I went to Gyro Delight. Their prices were right around the $5.00 to $7.00 mark for the typical sandwich or plate for the most part. They also had a ""Special"". The ""Special"" consisted of a Chicago Style Gyro, Fries, and Ice Cream for $7.95. Pros: Short wait Cons: Special wasn't all that special.... (Chicago Style Gyro) more

Not bad... 10/7/2007

To my vastly superior experience in mediteranean cuisine, this so called ""cuisine"" that this so called ""restaurant"" served was a mere droplet of human excrement on my very rich pallet. I however will vouche that their was ample parking, and the waitress whom served us that evening was very ample her self and I might add that I would have loved to sample her filthy gypsy dumplings. In either case I must apologize to the owner for having left a rather large ""leaving"" of my own waste on the mens room floor, which happened by no mistake on my part. Pros: ample parking, good hours, no blacks are allowed, friendly staff Cons: contracted Korean hemmoragic fever and have merely a few months left to live more

Delicious !!! 4/21/2007

The food is outstanding. I was very impressed with the friendly employees who explained each dish and helped me decide which entree would be best for me. What a bargain for such generous portion sizes. I have since recommend this place to many friends, and everyone agrees this is the best greek food in town. Pros: Delicious Food, Friendly Service Cons: Often crowded. Restaurant only seats about 50 more

Best Greek fast-food in the area 4/11/2007

This unassuming little place has the best Greek fast-food in Puget Sound, if not the whole west coast. Try especially the lamb souvlaki; two large skewers perfectly seasoned at a great price. Add wonderful Greek music and very nice people and you have a great dining experience. Pros: Food more

Average hohum gyro's with cool atmosphere 9/7/2006

I probably was expecting too much trying this establishment - after seeing it go through a major remodel. The atmosphere dulled my senses as no one seemed to be interested in waiting on us or discussing menu selection. Average tasting food and below average service. It is healthy and fresh and you need to be prepared for a messy gyro meal. I don't plan on returning when I have a craving for gyros. The place was clean and quiet. Pros: Quiet, healthy fresh food, clean Cons: Wait/cook staff not interested in customers more

Pretty good 11/14/2005

Worth The Drive 3/18/2005

I ate at Gyro Delight my first time while in Lynnwood on business. I was so impressed with the food, I have been back many times. I drive over 20 miles out of the way, as I live on the Eastside, to fill my craving for their food. The food has been outstanding every time. Pros: Quick Take Out, Fantastic Food, Inexpensive more

Fresh and tasty 2/24/2005

The food is tasty, music is nice (obviously Greek), price is great. A lot of food for a small price. Pros: food, price, music more

Best Greek Food In Seattle 2/21/2005

I have craved true Chicago Style Gyros ever since I was in Chicago. The owners must be from Chicago because none of the Gyro places I've been to in the greater Seattle area even come close. We placed our order and couldn't believe how much food we got for the price. They also have all the authentic greek desserts. This is a great addition to Lynnwood, because I know everyone is tired of the same old burger and burrito places all the time. Great Food, Enjoy !!! They've earned my A+++ Pros: Large Picture Menu, Great Food, Great Ambience Cons: Only open until 8pm more
