Okay, I'm biased. I will admit it. But when it comes to my children, I try and do what is in their best interests and this wasn't it. Eons ago, we started and Gymnastics Nevada. It was a great academy gym and for those of you who don't know what that means, I will explain. Academy is what you are if you are not team. So, every other gymnastics class is considered academy. The coaches are friendly and I still think the academy program is pretty good. The owners are nice and have 2 children of their own who are on team. Some of the team coaches are even very good and the facility is well-kept and well-appointed with equipment. My son did not flourish under some of the instruction provided at this particular gym for team. There is a lack of conditioning. Having approached the owners about this particular point several times to no avail, we decided to leave. I don't believe that the team program at this particular gym is well-rounded enough to support most competitive gymnasts. Conditioning is a very important part of the sport and without it you have weak gymnasts who can get hurt. My preference is stated in another review which you can check out if you like. The website is well-done. Enjoy!
