I do not recommend this place. I have been to two birthday parties there and my son took a class there when he was younger and they're not very organized. \r
\r
For starters, the birthday party children were placed in a room with an existing gymnastics class in session. So while the birthday party coordinators were trying to tell the children what to do, a gymnastics class was going on fifteen feet away, in the same room. \r
\r
But the worst part about the party was how rude the instructors were to the parents and their lack of enthusiasm. I felt so bad for the mom of the birthday child. The instructors hardly smiled and when they requested the children to go through the obstacle course, they told the parents that we would need to take them through the course once prior to letting them do it on their own because of the safety issues. Well, the thing was, the instructors didn't give us a demo on the obstacle course and it was in the middle of a bunch of gymnastics equipment, so it was difficult to ascertain where the course was or lead to, and how the children were supposed to navigate through it. Also, the parachute has seen better days, it had holes and tears in it. \r
I've been to parties at Little Gym and they actually show the parents and children what to do for each part of the obstacle course. \r
Also, it smelled like massive sweat and it just seemed like the party coordinators would have loved to be anywhere but there, working with our children. It was a big disappointment because I was actually considering sending my son back there, because it's closer than Little Gym, but I'd rather drive 25 minutes to Little Gym than give one dollar of my money to Gym Carolina.
Pros: the foam pit and the trampoline
Cons: very unhelpful, condescending staff, stinky gym.
