Gymcarolina Gymnastics Academy

My 5 year old daughter was enrolled in track out camp and a gymnastics class to follow. The staff put her into the wrong class at the wrong time so when it was over, they lost track of her. She was unsupervised until I got there at her regular pick up time. When I found her she was scared and began crying. I was given a multitude of excuses of why this happened and all the check and balances they have in place, But NOT ONE OF THEM WORKED. The staff didn't even know if she was there or not. I would not recommended using them for any of their camps or aftercare program. There are so many children who attend their programs and you would expect the staff would be trained on child safety and precaution measures. My 5 year old was release out of a secure area without being supervised or ensured she was with the appropriate guardian. She was suppose to be in THEIR AFTERCARE PROGRAM!!The staff and owner were clueless that a 5 year old child was missing / unaccounted for from their aftercare program! more

I take my son to parent and tots and I highly recommend it. Our coach is patient with all of the little ones and the obstacle is always a favorite. more

My daughter was on the competitive team. Our experience was horrible. The gym is poorly run. The head team coach was not nice at all. We switched to Raleigh School and so much happier. more

The beginner's level class was a cattle call of undifferentiated instruction led by young instructors who may be great gymnasts but appear to lack training in how to teach. Our instructor relied heavily on conveying information verbally rather than actually demonstrating the skills. The parking lot is often full, so their approach may be fine for some children. But, unless your child can seamlessly follow verbal commands in the absence of individual attention I'd look elsewhere. more

The office manager is rude and the owner does not care about anything but money. The number of kids crammed into the gym is way too much. The staff changes constantly. Go somewhere else. more

My daughter (4y) went to a birthday party at Gymcarolina and she had the most fun. I watched and this gym is incredibly fun. She liked it so much that we will be driving all the way from Chapel Hill to take her to a gym class there once per week. From what I understand, the birthday parties are pretty affordable too. Very large space, very nice equipment, friendly instructors. more
