Awesome spaetzl 4/10/2006

I'm a definite fan of German food, so I switch back between Gus's and the Black Forest Mill in Highland Mills. Where Black Forest is more of a typical restaurant, Gus's has the pub atmosphere with hearty food to match. When I dine there, we usually end up eating the same entrees each time: sauerbraten for me, schitzel for the fiance. We both insist on spaetzl as the side dish, which is delicious. The prices are reasonable; their prime rib special is an excellent deal. Gus's is the kind of place you come for comfort food when you get home from work, just too tired to cook. more
