My wife Regina & I have been going to this restaurant for over 4 years now; They have a very friendly waitstaff and their food is top-notch with plenty of the main course and sides. Their coney islands are the best; Their Chicken Salad is fresh; The pancakes are plentiful-less than $4.00 for a full order! Great breakfast specials. The owners are very courteous and will help you to your tables. I'd also like to note that in the 1st review someone relates that the ""owner"" seems drunk-He is a very pleasant older gentleman that welcomes you to his brother's place of business, helps with the tables & counter and has a warm smile and says hope to see you again every time. We have a gvreat choice of restaurants at 23 Mile Road & Gratiot and we choose Gus's Coney Island only for all our dining needs. Gus's is a very dirty place to eat! No free-fills! the craziest thing i've ever heard! Most of the men workers are preverted! Any meal you want fast is about the best price you can find in Macomb County or even the Detroit area. From breakfast to dinner specials, the quality and taqste is the best. The Grilled Marinated Chicken is grade A as well. I think the Grilled Chicken Salad is the Best Value on the menu.
