Prices are outrageous 3/12/2010

The prices are just absolutely unjustifiable. If you finally decide on an item you want, call a few other retailers in the area for price comparisons. Often times Gunworld sells products for at least twice what they cost at other places. There is no conscionable way to justify a 200% markup.\r \r If you really need to find a specific item that no one in the area has - you could probably get it specially ordered cheaper, or purchase online and have another dealer do an FFL transfer for you. more

gun world is my new fav 2/14/2010

I went in and purchased a handgun from them yesterday.. the staff was friendly greeted me in a timely manner and was able to answer all of my questions. I knew what I was looking for and in the price range I wanted to stay in. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of service prices and selection they had to offer. I will be returning there to purchase many more items. more

Great Gun Store & Range 8/17/2009

I'm a new at gun shooting. Although I have had a gun, I did not know much about it. I went into GunWorld and they helped me understand my existing gun. I shot it in the range, someone even went in there with me since I had never shot before, and I decided to exchange my gun for another. They were helpful, not pushy and cared that I had a gun I could operate safely. I intend to go back there and take the class for my personal carry license. Pros: Helpful, friendly, great selection more

Prey on the Unknowing-Refuse Refunds 7/29/2009

The price markups in this place are unbelievable. My son purchased his first bottle of bluing. The employee convinced him he knew what he was talking about. The cost was $48 for one bottle of Brownells bluing, that sells for less than $10 at Brownells online. After looking it up at Brownells he returned a day later with the still sealed bottle and a copy of the Brownells listing. Employee says policy is no refunds. My son was being naive, but that's no excuse for these people to conduct business this way. more

Gunworld is a rip off 7/15/2009

This place is a rip off, they mark up the prices so high. I would not recommend this store to anybody ever. Try some place else. Do not waste your time with them more

High prices and bad service 2/22/2009

Avoid this place! They have a 100 percent markup in guns and I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the ""employees"" hung out and exchanged stories. On a separate occasion I went there to test and sight my .308 H&K G3. I was told that I could not shoot a .308 there because it was too high a velocity bullet. What??!! That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Who has a range that you can't shoot riffles at? People who try to charge $800 for a S&W MP40, that's who. Now I just drive the extra 14 miles and go to H&H. more

Great Customer Service and Indoor Range! 4/23/2008

I like Gun World in Del City. It's close where I live and I like the indoor range setup. Yes it's a little noisy in there, but not a whole lot of people in there at a time which is nice. They do charge money hourly but my experience in there was until I was finished. My friends and I went in there and the more people you bring in there to shoot the cheaper it'll be. Plus they have some awesome hot chicks in there. more

Don't shop at Gunworld 7/12/2007

I wouldn't shop here if it were the last gun store in the city. Or the entire Midwest for that matter. The staff that I've met at Gunworld are nice and friendly but I'm not impressed with their knowledge of the products they sell. Their selection is good, but their prices are the worst that I've seen anywhere. I've gun shopped in several states and these are literally the worst prices I have ever seen. I'm not sure how this place stays in business. I guess there are suckers born every minute. more
