Gun World is a great shop--tons of new and used guns, the staff knows their stuff, and they have a huge selection of ammo and hard-to-find accessories. I highly recommend this store. The staff always knows what they are talking about. Every gun that I have bought from them, has been at a lower price than any other store that I had looked at. I am currently looking for a gun that I haven't been able to find at Turnerss, but it is at Gun World. Defiantly check this store out you will love it! Recommended more

A very unique gun store. They actually have a friendly staff that nows what they are talking about. Great selection they have some very hard to get items. Such as LaRue Tactical Preditobrs, LWRC's Leonidas a limited edition of three hundred, used and new Noveskes, Ed Brown 1911's, Night Hawks, Wilson Combats and Les Baers. They have a huge selection thousands of firearms. This is a must go to place if you are in to guns. more

I had my first...and last... encounter with Gun World today. I noticed that most of these reviews are from people who have purchased firearms, so let me tell you about my experience when you want to sell. The owner must have positively thought he saw the word "sucker" printed on my forehead when I walked into his store...simply because I'm a woman maybe? I had an Ithaca 12 ga., a Winchester 30-30 lever action, and a Colt 38 revolver (officers model, 1st issue) I'll ballpark their high end value at $1600.00. I researched these firearms... I know the value...low and high end. I figured he'd probably hit somewhere in the middle. He offered me $400.00...for all 3. Now...I'm not a math genius, but wow...what a profit margin. I had a S&W 357 with a 4" barrel on my list. He offered me $300.00. He has one listed on his website under used firearms for $600.00. What a crook...if you want to sell, go elsewhere. I certainly will. I've also decided that Gun World writes their own reviews, Ha. more

Great selection, staff was nice and very knowledgeble, prices were a little high but they did negotiate and I came out happy owning a new gun. Also it's easy for other shops to make claims and promises of cheaper prices and NEVER have anything in stock. more

I been looking for a nice gun store with a good selection. I went to some others gun shops in Burbank and they did not have a decent selection. When I first walked in to Gun World I thought it was going to be the worst of the three I had been to that day in Burbank. The front of the store consisted of a counter, with ammo stacked to the ceiling behind it and two display case one with scopes and one with knives. I almost left but something told me there was more. The counter was packed and there was four salesman behind counter. It was at that pointed that I noticed a doorway going to what I thought was a stock room a first. I went through the door way and my jaw hit the floor as I was enveloped by a warm fuzzy feeling. Like a kid in a candy store!\r It was the largest selection of hand guns, AR type rifle and shotguns I have ever seen. They had all the best optic Nightforce, Trijicon, EOTechs and Leupold. There must have been 40 different AGOGS to choose from! The even had the Barrett MRAD .338 Lap! They had four case full of hand guns. They must have three or four hundred different hand gun models. This has to be the best selection in all of Southern California\r I was after a Sig Sauer pistol. The MK25 Navy. A hard to get P226 9mm sub type. To my amazement they had it.\r This place is a hidden gem. I have no idea why people would complain about the prices. They were in line with the other store I been to. Some were $10 or $20 higher and some were lower. \r The sale men where surprisingly down to earth. None of the, if you do not know what I know you’re an idiot attitude like some store I had been too. As a matter of fact I saw one salesman talk a first time buyer out of making the purchase that day, instead recommending she first go to the range to try the gun out first. That’s sound advice in my book try before you buy. Gun World is Los Angeles best gun store. Better than the firearms shop in Culver City, to much attitude, and better then it two rival in Burbank. Very happy Customer thank you Gun World.\r more

AWESOME GUN STORE 5/15/2012

OMG, this is the best gun store I've been too. They have a huge selection, best customer service. When I came into the store, I had no knowledge of guns, but they took the time to go over everything I needed to know and helped me find the right gun for me to purchase my first gun. I didn't know what the difference from hollow points to full metal jackets. So happy I went. Now I feel safe in my home. I told all my friends to go there. Pros: null Cons: null more

You know, I read the above reviews and I understand where some of you are coming from. But as I far as I am concerned, I am a loyal customer.. Having been to the few gun shops we have in CA, I was put off by the insiders club feel. I felt the selection was limited at other places, and particularly at the "Venice" shop, I saw that nobody really felt the need to sell to me. more

This place deserves more credit. So much so that I will make it my first review. I have been to most of the gun stores in Los Angeles, and I have not seen a larger or higher quality selection in any of the other venues. They have all the top quality stuff. The people that work at Gun World will actually ask you if you need help, have questions, or would like to take something out of the many wood display cases for a closer look. Most of the employees that I have dealt with are knowledgeable and faster than Google as far as accurate info, and recommendations. I have read allot of reviews that complain about the prices to these people I say they will match most local ads. Buying a gun is allot like a car or a mattress, there is almost always room for negotiation. I have never seen a thug in the store. Ever. I have also never seen a mess or dust in the cases or on the guns on the wall or in the cases. They seem to run a tight ship. The selection is top notch. The also have some limited run fire arms on hand, so if you want something more unique they have that covered. more

Gun World is the best gun shop in Los Angeles. 1/10/2011

Unusual store when you walk in it looks like a very small store with a bunch of ammunition on shelves behind a small counter. That is till you go into the back rooms and it is a cavern of firearms and accessories. They have a huge selection of handguns. The sales staff did not have the usual I know everything about gun and you are an idiot for asking a question. Gun World is quite a refreshing change from the other gun stores around Los Angeles. The staff was really quite knowledgeable and willing to take time with me to explain all of the questions I asked. Gun World is the best gun store I have been to.\r \r I have bought, sold, and traded a number of guns at this shop, and I feel like I have always gotten good deals, fair trades, and honest treatment. I really enjoy doing business there, and I would recommend this shop to anyone needing firearms, ammo, or supplies. more

Large shop friendly Staff Gun World is Great! 12/31/2010

Being a girl I was quite intimidated walking into a store like this on my own. But once I was inside the staff made me feel extremely comfortable! They treated me with respect and didn't automatically assume that I didn't know what I was doing (however, that would've been a correct assumption). After asking me a few questions to find out my level of expertise and finding out I had barely any gun knowledge, the employees were happy to start from square one and teach me everything I needed to know. They were all so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. This store is HUGE and they are very well staffed. I was greeted and taken care of as soon as I walked in the door even though it seemed to be pretty busy. While I'm not exactly a gun enthusiast, this place seems to have anything and everything you could possibly need. From what I hear, this is one of the largest gun shops in Los Angeles area. more

This Gun Shop -Gun World- Is An All-Around Wnner 12/24/2010

It is so hard to find a good gun store. In less you are buddies with the sale men or know everything about guns it can be hard to get the time of day in most gun stores. This is the only gun shop where this has not happened to me. The employees really know there guns. This alone make going to Gun World worth it. Add there great selection and prices and the best selection of accessories and ammo I have seen and this place is an all-around winner more

Gun World is a world class gun shop. Great selection good prices. The sales men went out of the way to help me. They really took there time to help me find a over under shotgun that fit my needs. Would not hesitate to buy another gun from them. more

cannot say enough good things about Gun World 12/22/2010

I was not even sure if I wanted a gun. After going to other gun shops I was about to give up it was just too confusing. When I went in to Gun World there was no high pressure sale pitch as a matter fact they suggested that I go to the firing line(a target range0 and try a few caliber and models out before I pick a handgun. This could not have been better advice. more

Best Gun Shop In Los Angeles 12/20/2010

I purchased my second gun here. What a difference compared to the place I bought my first gun. They were helpful in answering all my questions. I was greeted and taken care of as soon as I walked in the door even though it seemed to be pretty busy. This place seems to have anything and everything you could possibly need that related to firearms. This is one of the largest gun shops in Los Angeles area and has the most knowledgeable staff I have ever seen more

A friendly staff that you just don't find in other gun store 11/21/2010

Large selection they had all the Glock models lot of S&W and a huge Kimber selection. A friendly staff that you just do not find in other gun store. Why is it that it so hard for gun store to find friendly staff? Gun World certainly does not seem to have this problem. The $50.00 one year range membership that they gave me with my Kimber purchase was just a great bonus. more

One of the best Gun Stores in Souther California! 11/5/2010

Great selection of firearms, they must of had every Sig Sauer pistol in stock. Had no attitude with the staff unlike other store I been to. They were happy to show me several pistols even though i said I was only doing research. While I was there I witnessed an extremely patient sale help a first time gun buyer threw the purchase of their first fire arms. He must of answered every question under the sun. I was most impressed because it seemed like this person had not done any research and there for the pore sales man had to give the first time gun buyer a tremendous amount of basic information. more

Rude, desparaging staff... 9/11/2010

The staff was rude...They didn't bother helping me to go through the steps of obtaining the weapon. Then I went to look at reviews of the store and found that one of the employees was bad mouthing me.. He actually said my name on there and defamed me. That's how unprofessional these people really are... more
