Know what you're shopping for 10/7/2008

GC is like other big chain discounts: great prices, good selection; but before you buy, research. I've been pitched a price on guitar that I could beat by buying on-line. Now, I could show 'em proof of the ad, and get credited for the difference, but what a hassle. Recently, I was duped into purchasing an extended warranty for a product that has a lifetime factory warranty! I'm complaining to management, and they will make it right, or lose me forever over a few bucks. The point is, pay attention to what you're shopping for, or you'll be staring into your shopping bag wondering why in the heck did I buy this stuff? more

Drum Shop 5/24/2007

Their drum department is staffed with knowledgable people and their selecton is great! If they don't have an item in stock, they can usually get it fast from one of their other million stores around the US. I had to order some books and they were there in three days. more

Awesome! 7/12/2005

Guitar Center is great for anyone who plays guitar or drums. The salesmen here are friendly and will help you find anything you need, whether or not you play an instrument or not. The great thing about this place is that if you find a deal somewhere cheaper, they'll match the price there, even if it's an online deal! more

Music Gallore 6/9/2005

The Guitar Store is an ok place to shop for your music needs. They have all types of musical instruments and books to learn music. The employees are extremely helpful in finding what you need. Go during the day otherwise they are packed and it will take awhile for a salesman to help you. I wouldn't reccommend going during Christmas. The store is usually very hectic and you will have to wait an extremely long time for help or to check out your purchases, otherwise its a great place for musical items. more
