Ordered flowers for next day birthday delivery online for my 85-year old mom. Gudgers called the next day at 4pm and said they could not deliver on time, they would try again the following day. I hesitantly said that would be fine.The next day the flowers did not show up either, nor did anyone call me. I left a message at their shop that evening and told them to make sure they canceled the order, three days was too late. I also emailed them to make sure they canceled. I got a rude email from, I am assuming the owner: ""maybe next time, with it being mothers day week, u should try for an earlier start if its something u think the florist may just not have around. most of those internet orders cause nothing but mass confusion, not talking directly to a local florist and scoping the situation out first. and usually, we are given a first and second choice"". Well, I was never offered a second choice. They charged me anyway and delivered the flowers three days late. The email I received back from them arrived BEFORE the flowers were delivered so I know they read my cancelation. Yet they charged me and delivered them! I will never recommend Gudger's or use them again. Terrible customer service!!! I am more upset about how I was treated then the fact the flowers were late. They claim to be the best in Asheville but read their Better Business Bureau complaints if you don't believe me! Their score is a ""D""
