Grillmarks

Four of us went to Grill Marks for the first time on Valentines Day 2009. They were running a special and being that it was a Saturday and Valentines, we made reservations for 5:30 to beat the crowd and have time to catch a movie after. I have to admit the food was awesome and the service was okay however we arrived early (5:05) there were DOZENS of tables open and we were greeted by a very friendly young lady. We told her that we were early and asked if that was alright; ?sure, no problem? she took our name and went to another ?hostess? that was sitting at a table right behind her and let her know we had reservations but arrived sooner, ?is that okay?? the other one SHOOK HER HEAD, ROLLED HER EYES, LET OUT A SIGH and said ?I guess it?s going to Have to be.? I have NEVER felt more unwelcome at any establishment and even though I enjoyed the food, I will NOT go back.. more

Thank goodness we called ahead or we would have waited forever for a table. Nice wine list. The waiter either had too many tables or just wasn't that good. He only returned once to the table after he took our order despite being within sight several times. My pork chops came out extremely overcooked after almost an hour wait. Having said all that, when I spoke to the manager about our experience he immediately picked up the check and gave us a coupon for another visit. So maybe it was just a bad night. We will try again. Pros: wine list. Atmosphere. Probably the food. Cons: service was sketchy. Kind of loud. more

Great place to go on a date, quiet and romantic. I had the bistro salad (excellent), greek salad (good), Ahi tuna steak (excellent), key lime pie (excellent). Good wine list. Their menu includes dishes not listed on their website, like quail. Service was prompt and friendly. Nice Art Deco theme to the decor. Pros: varied menu, excellent food, quick service more

Took my girlfriend there on Friday Night. And man, it was amazing. We had these glowing Green Martinis (St. Pats Day)...they really glowed. Food was amazing and so was the decor. By the way, while we were eating, we saw the Philadelphia Phillies eating in the next room. Definitely a cool place. more

Since first eating here in 2001, I have since made this my first restaurant choice to take friends and family to. The wait staff is very accomadating, the food is spectacular, both in taste and presentation. the Blue Crab Cakes are my favorite! Pros: early bird value, reservations, wide variety on menu Cons: none more

From Shaun the waiter to Brian, the General Manager, the entire staff was very friendly. Tried the spinach-artichoke dip for starters. It was plentiful and excellent. The prime rib and chicken marsala were flavorful and the pasta with shrimp dish was good. The dining experience was enjoyed by all in our party. A return trip is definitely a must. more

If you're looking for a great trendy restaurant in Clearwater...we finally have one. At least in my opinion. :) more

Had dinner there last Saturday night after a recommendation from a friend. Definitely worth checking this place out. Great restaurant. more
