Gregory's Salon

We had a wonderful experience at this salon. It was a treat, very classy, enjoyable - the staff is very polite and caring, and they did an awesome job on my daughter's hair. Can't complain (and anyone who does must be a disgruntled water thief. There's no fury like a thief claiming to be well-off, caught red-handed stealing water). We are getting ready to call for another appointment and looking forward to another treat! more

I think it's funny that someone who is making accusations of tackiness is also bragging about their own financial status, because that's not tacky at all! I happened to be present at the event in question and the reason he was told that the water was paid for with tax payer money was because it WAS(by the way, he wasn't told by a staff member, it was a campaign manager). The event was a fundraiser for a local City Commissioner's Campaign. If the salon was to ever have a dissatisfied client they would handle the situation with the utmost courtesy I'm sure. Aside from that, Gregory's Salon offers the best service in a relaxing and up tone environment. They also have entertaining art events every quarter in cooperation with the Dunedin Fine Art Center -- So much FUN! I have nothing bad to say about this salon or their service. I have referred all of my friends and they also now call Gregory's their home salon. I forgot that they also donated to my local charity event, they are just great like that. I am sorry that one person had an issue with someone who works at the salon. If they were giving out or selling drinks, I don't think someone should judge the salon based on a water bottle incident. There might have been something to sign up for, or maybe it wasn't free, who knows. Obviously it wasn't just being given away or else it would have not been an issue. Who puts open drinks out on a public sidewalk at an opening and then scorns passersby for taking a ""bottle of water - which costs $0.25 at Costco"".They must really be hurting for money (I am not by the way) and so they certainly should not scowl at potential clients that assume it is for the public consumption. I will certainly never use this salon for this particular reason, even if they were voted the hair geniuses of the Universe, which I seriously doubt. Cons: Rude Staff more
