Best

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Eads for years. He is a wonderful provider. His staff is very caring and kind as well.

Worst

I regrettably had an appointment with this guy who apparently holds some type of doctorate? I myself have not seen his credentials so who knows? All in all I would not go to this ...

Editorial review from Citysearch 9/12/2013

Most awful experience at a doctors office PERIOD. TRUST ME DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! The whole staff has been EXTREMELY RUDE to me, no personal experience at all - I went in to see the doctor - who rushed the appointment, everything I tried to explain it was like he knew the exact answer to and left after 5 minutes. more

Best Doctor ever. Knows what he is doing. Very efficiently ran office. Doctor stays on time with his appointments\r 5 Stars all the way more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/4/2012

What an efficient office! I went in to have Dr. Eads take a look at an insect bite which was not healing, as well as a small lump above my collar bone with my PCP diagnosed as a sebaceous cyst. Dr. Eads provided me a sample cream for my foot (no charge or prescription necessary!) and diagnosed the cyst in parallel to my PCP without me mentioning the diagnosis. He described the risks/benefits of having it removed and offered to take care of it in his office right then if I wanted. Of course, not wanting to see a plastic surgeon to have it removed (as suggested by my PCP), I had Dr. Eads remove it in the office. The procedure was quick, painless, and I felt very comfortable the whole time. I was literally in and out of the office in 20 min with all my conditions addressed. Thank you, Dr. Eads and staff! You were wonderful! more

THE BEST 4/3/2012

Our 16 year old daughter had suffered from breakouts on her face for 4 years. I had taken her to a local dermotologist in our hometown faithfully for the past 4 years. Many different facial washes and antibiotics were prescribed with absolutely no results. Our daughter would get physically ill over her complexion. This affected her very outgoing personality.....she very often refused to go to social events with friends, family functions and even missed a lot of school. Dr. Eads suggestion for treatment was right on. After 3 months, she has perfectly clear skin! Our daughter thinks highly of Dr. Eads and feels very comfortable seeing him for dermotology appts. THANK YOU DR. EADS, we have our social butterfly back!! more

Great Physician!! 12/6/2011

I have a condition that requires frequent dermatological treatment (monthly), and now having been a patient of Dr. Eads for nearly half a decade (yeah, that's like 60 appointments), I feel in a paramount position to provide my review. I would and have recommended Dr. Eads to anyone with derm issues. I'm stunned by comments by the ""one-star"" folks that he was too quick with the diagnosis? Really, would you like him to slowdown since you're not that busy? Dr. Eads nailed my rare diagnosis on the first trip, and I've yet to see the ""one-star's"" complain of a misdiagnosis. Don't mistake speed for a lack of competency........he's good folks. Also, I believe the staff is great and a fun group that loves to joke around when you know them as well as I do. I take 6:45 a.m. appointments and those girls are always ready to harass me when I hit the door. I have Dr. Eads personal email address and we know when and where we each take our families vacationing, and for me I guess that best sums up my patient/doctor relationship. Go see him for any derm issues. more

Stress-free 10/26/2011

Dr Eads is a kind and caring doctor. I have recommended him to family and friends because he takes the time to listen and explain. He eliminates the stress of my fear of cancer with his friendly demeanor and pleasant staff. I encourage anyone who has any dermatology questions or concerns to see Dr Eads. more

Caring Doctor 9/9/2011

Dr. Eads is a wonderful doctor! My husband had Melanoma which Dr. Eads quickly diagnosed. During my husbands treatment Dr Eads was so caring and always available to talk with my husband. He would immediately respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Dr. Eads also treats me and our young son who he does a great job with. Dr. Eads is great at what he does and we would and have recommended him to our family and friends. Another thing that we love is that you get in and out, there's no sitting around wasting your time! more

Great doctor! 9/8/2011

I highly recommend Dr. Eads to anyone! He is the best doctor I have ever been to before. Every procedure he has done for me has turned out great, and he is so kind. He is a good listener and he also gives good shots -- which is important if you don't like getting shots. Everyone in his office is always friendly and nice to me. Dr. Eads is also excellent at diagnosing my problems. He respects my time too -- I never have to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes at the most. He is good! more

This guys the worst and his office staff are not much better 7/30/2011

I regrettably had an appointment with this guy who apparently holds some type of doctorate? I myself have not seen his credentials so who knows? All in all I would not go to this guy for a hang nail. I pity anyone who does see him for any type of professional opinion as he spent about 3 minutes with me total. I have a fairly large white spot on my leg and asked him what it was? He came back with an attitude and rambled off some scientific name that means nothing to me. I still to this day have no idea what I have on my leg? I walked out of there stunned that I missed a day more

eh. 1/2/2011

Dr. Eads is honestly the most odd man I've ever met, My first appointment meeting him he did not look at me until he felt me staring at him for a reasurance he was listening and then gave me this completely dumb founded look as he slowely walked out of the room and let the nurse assist me, none the less we did a meet and greet in a matter or 3 minutes (Im always counting time in dr.office) \r \r worst of all my face wasnt that bad until he told me to wash my face with regular soap and water, as he snipped an attitude and said ""that's what NORMAL people do"" I could barely believe he said that, I followed his directions for my face to soon become filled with what I call SEVERE ACNE with cyst and everything, my face was completely clear with the exception of some white heads and with his advise I HAVE FULL ON ACNE! It's crazy to think I went to a derma to look better and came out looking 190 uglier! I tried another lady dr at this office wich was no better. PLEASE CHECK GOOGLE REVIEWS ON DR.EADS! I noticed they all seemed to express how I felt which made me not get so frustrated and realize I need to continue to look for a proper dermo more

Dr. Eads is professionally efficient 12/9/2010

If you like to set for hours waiting on a physician, then listen to nonsense when you finally get in, Dr. Eads and his office are no place for you. On the other hand, if your time is as valuable as his, if you want fast efficient, appropriate treatment, and you care about getting it right the first time, go see Dr. Eads! Yes, I was in and out in good time but was diagnosed within minutes of arrival, had a small cancer removed without pain, advised how to care for the wound and scheduled for a follow-up then on my way home within about 30 minutes of arrival. To me, that was the most fantastic service I've ever received and I loved having my time valued as well as my health needs. Thanks Dr. Eads!! more

effectual, efficacious, effective, fruitful, operative... 10/6/2010

Those are just some of the words that describe how Dr. Eads and his staff operate. I believe that he is respectful of the time he spends with his patients. It has been my experience that he WILL hold a lengthy conversation with you if you initiate the conversation. I was referred to him by a few of my coworkers. I honestly did not expect my office visit to be as ""good"" as I had been told. Well, I was actually blown away in the initial consultation! For starters, my appointment time was 9 o'clock in the morning and I was actully in the examination room being seen at 9 o'clock that morning! He took a look at my skin issue, made a diagnosis and gave a recommendation regarding treatment. There was no hesitation from him about the diagnosis and proposed treatment. That made me feel very confident in his compentence as a physician! It was not necessary for him to ""shoot the breeze"" with me. On subsequent visits, my time was very well respected. I chatted a little more and so did he. He never appeared to be disinterested or annoyed that I carried on a conversation that had little to do with my visit! So, if you are looking for a doctor that will start your appointment late, have to order tests before making a diagnosis and prolong the examination with conversation that he/she finds interesting, Dr. Eads is not the dcotor to see. Bedside/tableside manners are a lot of what we, as patients, make them out to be! Keep up the good work, Dr. Eads! I will be referring my family and friends to you! I pray your business does well. more

Dr Eads is the best 9/24/2010

Dr Eads is a wonderful physician. I love the fact that he can look at something and know what needs to be done. His office runs very efficient. I wish all my Doctors visits were as good as this one. more

Dr. Eads 8/30/2010

I hope that all potential patients of Dr. Eads consider this review seriously. I read all the other comments and am surprised that some gave negative comments. As a doctor myself, I know and can sense quality care. I am very familiar with dermatologists. I have seen many in my life. Dr. Eads is fabulous. He correctly diagnosed several issues that I was unable to get resolved in previous dermatology settings. Dr. Eads is rare in his skills and ability to help with dermatology issues. He is a black and white individual and that may account for some of the negative reviews. Some people aren't comfortable with black and white people. But if you want a doctor who is brilliant, who is a fabulous diagnostician, who can pinpoint the problem and resolve it, you're best bet is to go to Dr. Eads. He is the best I've been to. I would highly advise you to make the trip to his office, no matter how far you have to travel. It is worth the trip as he knows what he is doing and he desires to give you the best care that you can receive from a dermatologist. He even helped me with non-dermatological issues. As a person involved with medicine, trust me, Dr. Eads is the best I've ever been to, and I know medicine! more

Great Doctor 8/20/2010

I was at Dr. Eads 8/19/10, and got in and right out. He office always gets you in on time and I never had to wait. It upsets me that because he is a direct and to the point Dr., that he is proceed as now caring. He has taking care of my family, friends besides myself for years and we thnk he is great. more

Horrible waste of time and money 8/13/2010

I agree with the last 2, the man is a horrible Doctor. Just like the others I was in and out in a total of 10 minutes and that's with me filling their new patient questionaire. I have never felt so bad like I did when I left there. He could careless why you are even there, because he is not going to do anything for you. But he makes sure you feel very stupid for coming and wasting his time. The mean comments he makes and the rolling of his eyes when you are talking. I will be telling as many people as I can about him!! more

Worst office ever!!!! NO STARS 8/13/2010

If your looking for a Doctor that gets you in and out in 10 minutes, then this is the Doctor for you.All he cares about is getting your money, this was the very first time I had ever been there and I was back to my car in 10 minutes. Dr Eads makes you feel stupid. I was covered from my head to my feet with hives and all he had to say was ""well you have hives, there is no way I can look at your hives and tell you why you have them, your allergic to something"" He was the rudest Doctor I think I have ever met. I was so angry when I left, because he doesn't care. I was at the check out and receptionist said he wanted to see me back in a month, for what??? He didn't even look at me, he didn't prescribe anything he did nothing!! But he wants me to pay for another office call Ha! Don't think so!! But while I was standing there he had went into another room and was back out in 3 minutes and they were leaving. That's how fast he is! Can't wait to see what he charges my insurance for. more

WARNING: Extremely Unprofessional & RUDE! 8/12/2010

I have visited Dr. Eads on a few occasions, but have now decided I'm definitely finding a new dermatologist. I experienced the same lack of professionalism as the previous poster. This Dr. has absolutely no people skills and seems like he'd rather be any where other than addressing his patients needs/concerns. This guy is a real piece of work! Each of my appts has been 5 minutes or less ( in/out ) and I have never received a ""how are you doing"" or any kind of welcome which all of my other DR's do a fantastic job and make you feel comfortable and don't not treat you like just another number. Off to find a new dermatologist! more

Curt and unprofessional 2/19/2010

I visited Dr. Ead's office today and left feeling like my time would have been better spent enjoying a root canal. I thought things were a bit 'off' when he didn't bother to introduce himself or ask my name. But, I understand that modern medicine is different and doctors are often harried and overworked. So, I shrugged it off and explained my situation. The doctor's response was exceptionally cool and aloof. He essentially dismissed my concerns and went so far as to say ""most people would think [my concern] was a good thing."" Way to make a patient comfortable, Dr. Eads. In total, he spent about 5 minutes with me and when I asked if we could do a follow up over the phone because I live about 1 hour from his office, his response was, for a professional, incredulous: ""I don't do that. I'm not going to, like, call you up and say, hey, how's your [concern]."" He followed that with, ""So, do you just want me to give a year's worth of the prescription and you can call me when you need something?"" I was frankly surprised and muttered something about not being sure. He then said, ""Well, then what DO you want?"" I told him that I was sort of relying on his professional advice to develop a plan. Apparently that was also not part of what he did. Funny me, I had expected a mutual process of negotiating what might be a reasonable compromise. Instead, I felt like I was an imposition and his thinly veiled disgust ensured that I will not be following up at this office. more

Wonderful office 8/13/2009

The con--location--is specific to me because I live in Hamilton County. However, I find it well worth my drive. My 3 year old had been having skin outbreaks off and on for almost two years and I had two dermatologists here in Indy/Carmel tell me that when she had another outbreak to call and they would ""get her right in"". That was not true. I had resorted to anyone who would see us within the next day and Dr. Eads made time the next morning for her to be seen. He was kind and considerate of her needs, very knowledgeable, knew what to do to treat the problem, and I will trust him with her care from now on. The office staff are very friendly. All in all, I cannot say enough as to how great that office is. Pros: Great doctors Cons: Location more
