Green Star Transmissions was really great. My car was totally nonfunctional when I brought it to another shop, and this other shop wanted a lot of money to fix it. Green Star Transmissions offered to tow my car for free all the way from Colma to Santa Clara, which was really great because I didn't have to bother my AAA people again. Their price was about almost half of the two other places I had got estimates from. They wanted more than $3700 to do the repairs, but George offered to do it for less than $2000. more

George of Green Star Transmissions was just very professional. He checked everything and let me know what was going on with each car. I brought in all three of my vehicles. Not only do they offer free shuttle service, but when I came to pick up my truck it had been washed. I've never received service at this caliber from an auto shop. Very impressive. I'm definitely a customer. more

My Range Rover needed a new transmission, and after calling a few companies, and pricing out new transmissions, I was pretty frustrated. These companies were trying to charge me upwards of $9000, which I thought was a ridiculous amount of money! Finally, I found George with Green Star Transmissions online and gave him a call. He gave me a reasonable estimate, so I decided to go with him. I also like that he guarantees his work and will stand behind the work he does with a great warranty of three years or thirty-six thousand miles, which is a really great deal! He had my car for about two weeks, which is a fast turnaround. During that time, George was in constant contact with me, communicating with me at least three times a week to keep me updated and not making a move without my clearing it first. This was the best service and communication I've ever dealt with. When I picked up my car and drove it home, I swear it drove better than when I had dropped it off! I'm not kidding! It's really great. There's nothing I can think of that they don't already offer, they offer free towing and shuttle service too. They really go over the top for their customers. When my transmission died, I had it towed to Green Star Transmissions. I had no idea what I was getting into at all because something like this had never happened to me. They were able fix it very quickly, in two to three days. When they called me to come pick it up, George was able to drop it off at my house for me, which I really appreciated!
