In ShortBuilt in 1959, this arena has been around long enough to host a young Elvis Presley, but more recently you might have caught the Backstreet Boys or Jimmy Buffett here. Thanks to several million dollars' worth of restoration in the mid-'90s, you'd never guess the arena's age. The work went well beyond a fresh coat of paint and included expansion to a full-house capacity of 23,500, with a variety of seating options for events on the ice, the court or concert stage.
