Greenlawn Grove Flea Market

You know, I can't help but wonder if the "grumbler" reports come from someone who over-priced their stuff and couldn't sell it. Or maybe the kind of person who wakes up each day determined to find something wrong with just about anything. C'mon, folks...the Greenlawn Flea Market is a fun place, admit it! I often go just for the entertainment value alone...watching all the silly negotiations going on is a hoot! (After all, the guy never intended to get $8 for that rickety chair anyway, did he?). But sometimes I buy stuff, and the prices are always fantastic! Yeah, I've seen bigger flea markets (Phoenix, AZ, for example), but never one with such a "fun" atmosphere. (For the record: No, I'm not one of the owners...just a guy from Belleville who enjoys the ever-changing show here at Greenlawn) more

Most of these review are about 90% true. Yes they have good food for a fleemarket and there is alot of flow throughout the entire area. Parking does get squishy but i have never had any problems with the staff. The gravel is ok just imagine the heat it it was blacktop! haha. Mike A. below me is really exagerating and stretching the truth. Armada is an ok fleemarket but I prefer G.L.G. Mike is just flat out lying hahahaha more

Did anyone read all these reviews?\r \r They are from the same person.\r \r They ALL say the food is good and that the person came as a kid and still comes and that you can sell there too.\r \r I think the owner of the place posted all these ads and wrote different names.\r \r Even the incorrectly spelled words were similar.\r \r How funny!!! more

this flea market is ok. i have read the reviews of the vendors and they are a bit exaggerated. the place does have a lot of different vendors and pricing isnt too bad. this usually depends on the vendor of course. if you have kids it is really good. A lot of the vendors have toys. But, if you are bringing a stroller it is a bit of a pain the rear. the roads are gravel and it makes it rough, though not impossible, to walk around pushing a stroller. as far as the food goes, not real sure but it does smell good. more

Seriously, \r THis place is awesome, and ill recommend it 2 any1 i no. I've been coming here ever since i wuz a yung feller. Now i'm 56, and still doing bussiness here. I even have been able to support my own 4 kids, and guess wht? THey ar teenageers 2, so yah being teenagers and being able to support them is something, and i really, truly mean that. This is the most suitable place for getting what, you want for a very cheap price. THey even have LONG JOHN SILVERS PIES!!!! \r I luv them!!!! \r everytime whn i came with my dad since i wuz a yung feller he would always buy me 1, mannnnnnn this review brings back memories more

Ive been coming to this fleemarket since i was 10 with my dad. we would wake up early saturday mornings and just walk around and have a good time. Im 34 and i still love this place it gets better every year. At least half of alll my posseions came from there. They have new used items from everywhere at prices wholesalers cant beat!!! Ive always loved this place and i always will. Especially recently the upgrades they put into it are outstanding! they have a DJ and grill where u can enjoy and delicious meal with your family. You really have to come out here to appreciate it. You will always find something you need with over 300 dufferent dealers. This place is great opened on fridays saturdays and sundays. Come on down and share a good one. more

this is a great place to find deals!! there have been many times where i have searched for those hard to find items just to find them here for a great price!! come down on the weekend find a deal grab a bite 2 eat and have a grand old time!! more

This flea market is the best one I have ever been to in my entire life. I think that because of that flea market i wouldnt even be able to support my own 2 kids. But thank god cuz of all of the customers. They also have verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry delicious food. And of course I would reccomend this place to anyone. I even heard that they are expanding. I would like to recognize them for their outrageous, delicious steak subs. I could even live on those subs. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! more

You can find great things at the Green Lawn Grove Flea Market! It's also great for those of us that like to sell occasionally. You get more customers there than at any of the other local flea markets! So Come on down. and spend the weekend with us. more
