Greenhouse Learning Center

I am a full time working mother and had the hardest time leaving my daughter in daycare after I had her back in July. I asked everyone I knew what their recommendations were and I heard nothing but good about Greenhouse. My daughter has been going there for about 3 months and I am so very happy with them. I spend my lunches there with her and everytime I have ever shown up (they never know when i am coming) she is always smiling and laughing, her diaper is always clean, and she is always fed. Her teachers are very sweet and they do a great job. I am a mom first, and these women make me okay with leaving her at a daycare. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. All the trash talking I have read on here makes me feel sad, these people care for children. They have always been very warm with me and the enviroment is very inviting. People who have nothing better to do than be negative should be ashamed of themselves. more

We were so happy to find this daycare, so clean with such a caring and involved owner. We were wrong, after a few months she began prying into our personal lives. She spoke badly of me and my husband when my family picked up my child. She told my child it was ok to lie and that she needed to, after I tell her never to lie. This is not hear say but something i witnessed. She seems to be very caring at first but dont get close to her- this is only a sample of what we have delt with. this daycare is very pretty but they lack the ability to care for infants properly, they have very limited activites for older children, they just let the older children play videos all day, no planned activites other than vacation bible school..the owner pushes her beliefs on the children Pros: very modern Cons: staff incompetent more

The facilities are nice here, but the leadership/staff have many problems. Everyone seems very nice at first, but after getting to know them, you see they are ruthless and for no good cause. It reminds me of the Jerry Springer show. There's always some drama about something, no peace. I do now want my children around this, this is not how I live. Take it from me - if you don't want your kids learning that being deceitful is right then don't put them here. I learned my lesson the hard way. This daycare is wonderful. The staff is caring and the facility is top notch. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. I am happy to have my child in this daycare and as a caring Mom I recommend it to anyone in the Angleton area who wants their child to be well cared for. more

So sad. There are some weird dealings with these owners from the facilities that they previously owned. They were asked to leave due to embezzlement, and have been getting on these websites rating the previous daycare with bogus 1 star ratings and their own with 5 star. Beware of them. They were kicked out for a reason. Pros: Nice new facilities Cons: Horrible deceitful attitude under the surface. There's a lot that goes on that most people will never know. more

I recently transferred my children to The Greenhouse from Kidz Depot (see my review). It is a brand new facility. It is very organized, clean and welcoming. Everyone there is friendly and very helpful and are willing to answer any questions I may have. They have many activiites for the children of every age and really care about my children's well-being. The director is extremely likable and very knowledgeable about children and how her business operates. I've witnessed her take crying children from their parents and make them feel very loved and welcomed. (my child was one of them) I've also witnessed children who were acting up and Ms. Marilyn very calmly takes the situation under control and has the children ready to join class in a matter of minutes. This is just a very caring, loving facility. You can feel it the moment you walk in the door. The rooms are beautiful and are always clean and fresh. Everyone there has many qualifications to make them Class-A staff. I feel very safe and comfortable leaving my children every day with such a great group of people. Obviously, this mommyofmany is doing what I did for a year after Ms. Marilyn and her team left Kidz Depot and listened to the lies that those people spread about licensing issues and how Ms. Marilyn just walked out on them and had to quit because of something on her director's record. That is public knowledge and there is nothing on her record. If you check the records now, you'll see many instances of children left unattended and outofratio classrooms, etc. I was shown paperwork signed by the pastor of Kidz Depot's church asking her to leave. That is very unChristianlike to lie and put others down just because you're jealous of they're reputation and quality work and care. There will never be another day care like the Greenhouse and I am proud that my children and I are associated with this wonderful facility! Pros: knowledgable, caring, involved, clean, organized, drive-thru awning Cons: no openings for new children (they already have a waiting list!) Sorry, guys! Better call now! more

The facility is top notch, but the people who are managing this facility didn't do a good job with the last facility and didn't treat their staff or their kids right so what are they doing opening a new facility.
