I ordered flowers for my wife this morning for our Anniversary. It's always a surprise. As usual GREENBRIER FLORIST told me they could deliver them today. Fine. They didn't ask when they needed to be delivered and I didn't tell them by 4:30. They actually said they would get them there this morning, no time mentioned. Kimberly was the person I talked with. I knew they hadn't been delivered by just before 4 pm because my wife always calls me when she gets them. I called GREENBRIER FLORIST and told them the flowers hadn't been delivered yet and asked where their delivery person was so I'd have an idea whether I needed to tell my wife to stay a little longer, spoiling the surprise but at least having them delivered to her today. I was told that my wife was the next stop, in about 10 minutes. That was fine, because it was around 4 pm. My wife left at 4:30, without the flowers, not even knowing they had been ordered. I called GREENBRIER FLORIST and was told they were delivered at 4:32! The delivery person probably got held up in traffic. Give me a break! First if I'm told 10 minutes, it should be close to that. Second, if he was held up in traffic why not call and let me know?? He had a phone and I would have asked my wife to wait a bit. I was in business for 50 years! I know what courtesy and customer service is. GREENBRIER FLORIST DOESN'T POSSESS IT. I have been using them for almost 28 years but I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! I do not recommend GREENBRIER FLORIST TO ANYONE FOR ANY TYPE OF FLOWERS! DON'T GET BURNED! IT ONLY TAKES ONCE TO RUIN AN EVENT.
