Horrible place! All they care about is profit. They were selling hedgehogs that they were abusing and neglecting to people who didn't know a thing about them. Hedgehogs are exotic animals that require special care, and what they were doing was outright cruel. NEVER SHOP THERE! more

our animal room is now really bad no one cares as they once did. Most people that come in is only because they can't find a better place, or they have come to us for many years so they feel they have to come to us. I don't even shop here anymore. I live in Elizabethtown, Ky I love to drive to Indiana to greentree pet center! They have an excellent selection of salt water fish and coral! I have never had any trouble with anything I've bought from there. I drive over an our to get there then an hour home and I've never had a fish die! I would recommended this store to anyone! I have been buying ALL of my aquarium needs here for quite a few years now, and not once have I personally seen bad conditions of any sort,& as for the staff that work there, have always treated Me & my wife the way you would treat family. All I can say is, that you will not get any better any where in Clark Co. Love you guys and will be a true & faithful customer. Greentree Pet Center ROCKS. more

I like the store because they have a very wide variety of pet supplies. BUT I would not buy any fish there ever again. I have bought a total of 4 fish there. The first one died before I got it home. The second one lived for less than 24 hours after bringing it home and the last 2 developed fit and tail rot almost immediately. I was able to save one by nursing it back to health in my hospital tank. So please don't be fooled by their great selection and look very closely at the health of the other fish in the store. more

When your fish die do you all ever think it might be your tank, Not the store. take a sample of your water in with you before you get fish from any store have them check it for you. greentree does this for free. They love to help, so why not help your life to be better by testing your water first. Yes your fish might be ok, They have adjusted to it because they live in it. You add new fish to the tank that are use to other water they may not live. Always have your water tested first! more

i went in to this place because i had never been there and i was in the area. i walked in and went straight to the TiNY! animal isle area where i saw animals in terrible conditions. we saw numerous cages with filthy dirty shavings, and no food nor water. we told a worker there, about the animals water gone, and he simply said "so.." Pros: pet suppllies and cheap animal prices Cons: terrible service rudeness and filthy animal cages. more

I just left The Greentree Pet Center and had such a delightful experience:) They had such a fantastic selection of salt water fish and the tall guy who helped me was very insightful and let me know which fish would not be a good fit for my tank. I will tell all my "fish friends" to check them out! I am new to the hobbie and left there knowing much more than I did prior to my visit. I really wish I could write a good review for this store. The big seller at the store seems to be their fish department, as over half the store is devoted to fish and fish supplies. They have a very nice fish selection, with everything from guppies to some less seen fish such as arowana and mudskippers. They have fresh, salt, and brackish water fish. Unfortunately, their fresh and brackish water fish tanks are very overstocked, with what seem to be sometimes nearly 100 fish in a 10 gallon aquarium (that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but not much). It is obvious they have troubles with their water quality as they had ammonia remover blocks in several of the aquariums. A couple tanks were being treated for ich using a salt treatment. Though I hate to see them having sick fish, I am happy that they were honest about it and were treating the fish properly for the illness. The saltwater tanks seem to be better taken care of, probably because they cost more. Their bettas are kept in small bowls and the water is dirty. Green Tree Pet Center is located right across from River Falls Mall. They have pretty good prices on dog food and a good selection of assorted toys. We stopped in here just to check it out and ended up leaving with a bag full. more

This is the cheapest store you will find. It is crowded due to the prices and crammed with stuff (hard to manoever a stroller) and it is smellier than most fish stores. However, you just can't beat the price. It stays packed . I recommend going during off times. I buy all of my supplies there and some of my fish. more

If you need pet supplies, this is a decent place to go. If you are looking to buy animals, I would look elsewhere. I do go there quit a bit to get food/supplies for my animals. The best parts of this store are, Their fish supplies, food/ filters are much cheaper than even Wal-mart! Same with (mic _E) food, and housing. They are the only place that sells big LIVE crickets or grasshoppers in the winter that I know of. The bad part- this is mainly a fish store. It does stink, but thats to be expected in a pet store. There where dead fish on the floor in front of the feeder fish tank... GROSS! Water in front of all the tanks. The (CLOSET) they keep their birds, rodents, and reptials in is very very small. You cannot get more than three people in there in a single file line. My husband got me two fancy (Mic _E ) from there for Christmas. We knew when we picked it out that one was pregnant. But the shock came later when we got them home. The pregnant one was missing a leg! It was heeled and she is very healthy but.... still. They also informed me when I got the pets that they buy back certain animals. They told me .50 cents for each (mous _E) that I brought back. Which I thought was a good thing. Overall, I would say that this is an okay pet store. You can't beat the prices though!! (sorry it won't let me write mic _(E) or mous _(E)!??) I went to check out birds, and was surprised how badly the place smelled and how dirty the bird cages and area for the birds was. One person at the regiser was visiting with his friend and couldn't care less about other customers, and the other person was working and didn't notice me for a while, after he knew I was looking he was available. Honestly I wasn't surprised that they don't guarentee their pets after you leave the store. Cons: , wet floor by the fish more
