Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Both times I've ordered pick up it has been wrong and they refuse to correct. They yell at customers and are the most unbelievably rude business owners I have ever come across. Apparently many other people feel this way and refuse to give them their business. No doubt this place will be closed in the near future as it is always empty. If you do order delivery or pick up, make sure you check it. Luckily for me my bank agreed with me and removed the charge from my account. more

Visited this restaurant after not going in for a while. My boyfriend and I sat down at the sushi bar for the fact that it was quiet and we had planned to have sushi. We received a sushi menu and drinks. Once we decided we didn't want sushi, we waited for 20 minutes for someone to come check on us and bring an actual menu. Once we finally ordered our pad thai and coconut soup, we were told by the rude lady working there that we couldn't sit at the sushi bar because we weren't eating sushi. REALLY? There was no one at the sushi bar eating and 5 tables on the floor were occupied. Were we really hurting anyone by sitting there? So, our pad thai made it to the table but NO COCONUT SOUP. I guess when the rude lady took our order she was previously pissed that we sat at the sushi bar and decided to leave out our coconut soup. I really wanted to grab a server and tell them that they forgot our soup but unfortunately, from the time our food was put down on the table until the time we walked out the door, NO ONE checked to see if our food was okay, we got NO service whatsoever. The other 4 occupied tables seemed to be getting great service. No one received a tip that night and I probably will NEVER go there again. The food was great but I can drive a few miles up the road, get wonderful service, better quality food at Wasabi in Oakwood. more

This is the first time I've ever had reason to write a bad review. My experience at this place left me so angry I need to express this just to help me get it out of my system! When we entered there was no one there to greet us. (I should have taken that as a sign of what was to come.) I prefer to sit at the sushi bar. When I asked for a menu, I was told the sushi menus are at the sushi bar. He condescendingly intimated that I was sitting at the sushi bar and should only need a sushi menu. (My son enjoys chicken) It took a few minutes to get a regular menu (because I sat at the sushi bar?). The Green Tea roll was noted as ""something specia"". I assumed they meant ""special"". When the sushi chef handed it to me over the sushi bar, all of the soy or ""specia"" sauce slurped over the top of the plate, down the front of me, soaking my sweater and slacks with ""specia"" sauce! No one even appeared to notice! Had to scrounge napkins from neighboring tables to dry myself off! The roll itself was impossible to pick up without falling apart both with chop sticks and with fingers! I had also ordered yellow tail (because it is such a mild tender fish). The first piece was OK, the second tasted fishier than it should have. When ever a waiter asked how everything was, it was just an automated gesture. They never waited for an answer! Before I asked for the bill, another waiter that was just passing by asked and I responded, ""Do you really want to know?"" I proceeded to suggest that the sushi chef not pass the food over the sushi bar if it contains ""specia"" sauce and showed him the remnants spilled all down the front of me. He proceeded to say something to the sushi chef in a foreign language to which the sushi chef responded, ""My bad."" No apologies, no discounts offered. First time ever I left NO Tip. (I usually leave 20%) more

I just moved into this area about 2months ago, and i tried their food right when I came AND ITS AWESOME!! loved their sushi! oh, the curry was pretty interesting too. The service was GREAT! she was so nice to my family. could not forget her name, Jennie. my kids, my husband and I go there about once a week now more

We have been using Green Tea delivery for years and loved it. Over The last couple of months service has been absolutely horrible. Sushi is marginal at best and customer service answering the phone is pathetic . My 6 year old daughter could take an order better. This was our #1 sushi delivery place. No More!!! more

NEVER BOYCOTTED A RESTAURANT BEFORE, BUT NOW I HAVE TO!!! THE OWNER WAS JUST DOWN RIGHT RUDE!! AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, I'LL BE DRIVING OUT OF MY WAY ELSEWHERE FOR SURE & SO SHOULD YOU!!! BEEN GOING TO THIS PLACE FOR YEARS OFF AND ON BECAUSE WE LOVE THAI & IT WAS THE ONLY PLACE CLOSE BY. MEDIOCRE THAI, BUT NICE WHEN YOU DON'T WANT TO COOK ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. LIKE TONIGHT, I ORDERED PAD THAI TAKE OUT FOR MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER SINCE SHE CANNOT EAT ANYTHING TOO SPICY. MUST HAVE BEEN A MIX UP IN THE KITCHEN, BECAUSE THE DISH WAS TOO SPICY EVEN FOR ME TO EAT & I LOVE SPICY FOODS! THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN NO BIG DEAL....HOWEVER, WHEN I CALLED ABOUT IT THE OWNER SAID ""IF YOU ENJOY SPICY THEN I WILL GIVE NO REFUND!"" THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! SO NOW I HAVE TO COOK MY DAUGHTER A DINNER THAT SHE CAN EAT AND DRIVE BACK TO GET MY REFUND! WHICH I DID...WHILE THE OWNER HID FROM ME IN THE BACK & NEVER OFFERED ANYTHING TO MAKE UP FOR THE MISTAKE. We are regulars at Green Tea. They have the best Thai food and sushi around. The sushi chef is great. He will fix us a special new roll everytime we go. You have to try this place. more

I'm pretty picky when it comes to Thai food...this is a great little family restaurant with an attentive staff and amazing cooks. We enjoyed the Panang Chicken Curry which was creamy and infused with coconut milk and fragrant lemongrass, plenty for leftovers and the Fried Pineapple Rice which was very well made and delicious. They serve a lot of food for one serving insuring you will enjoy it again at home the next day.\r \r The prices are very reasonable too! Highly recommend this little gem tucked away in Flowery Branch. Pros: delicious food, great price and ambiance. Cons: you can't take the cook home more

I don't know what the editors were smoking before eating at Green Tea Restaurant. I thought someone had ""hacked"" the voting in 2006 to award them the audience winner in the Fine Dining category. This is an average Casual neighborhood asian eatery. And I would stress the words Casual and Average. more
