Green Tangerine Spa & Salon

I wanted a haircut fast so I decided to give this place a try. I was given, Andrea, and boy did I get lucky! I cut a signifigant amount off my hair and really enjoyed the way she styled my hair. Also the chairs for shampooing recline automatically and massage you! I could've fallen asleep! Then I went back for a partial foil and a cut and while I was waiting for my color to set I was given the option of using one of the computers they have for clients, it was great! Pros: Massage chairs, internet access, friendly staff Cons: Not exactly cheap more

I was initially pleased with service, but disappointed when the polish was wearing on the tips within 48 hours. Within 4 days, three nails had significant chips... and without any significant use of hands in water/chores/etc. Highly unlikely I will return for manicure, but will try other service Pros: Clean, welcoming, pleasant staff Cons: manicure didn't last 48 hours more

I am a spa/salon hopper that loves to try out different places for fun. This is currently BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...top on my list. I love how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff is. Even though everybody is beautiful and trendy here, THEY DO NOT JUDGE YOU!!!! They made me feel like a regular old time friend. The establishment is GORGEOUS! You would think that because the salon is BUSY, BUSY the spa would not be as "OOOOooommmm". Stepping into the spa is like walking onto a dream. So peaceful, and "Feng Sui". I cant wait to go back and get all the services done!! more

I went for a Brazilian wax and, as I was fairly new to this type of waxing, I was nervous. Rachel put me immediately at ease and the whole experience was not as intimidating (embarrassing) as I expected it to be. Rachel was easy to talk to and made me feel as relaxed as possible during the whole waxing. Pros: Nice atmosphere, Great location, I would recommend Rachel for waxing. Cons: None that I know of but I have only gone for waxing. more

I called in seeking information about massage services. The person who answered the phone was clearly reading from a script as she answered. When I asked her about the services they offered, she went through a lengthy diatribe to describe only 3 different types of massage. When I asked about the one I really wanted (cranial sacral) she acted as though I was speaking Greek and didn't know what I was talking about. I couldn't get a word in edgewise as she went through her prepared comments. I was not impressed and would not consider patronizing the place. I went to Green Tangerine in a pinch last weekend to get my hair done before a wedding. Am i glad I did! It was such a great experience. Everyone was so nice, they made me feel like I was an old friend rather than a first time client! My hair came out FABULOUS. My stylist was Naomi and she was really sweet and talented. I had a manicure too that was so relaxing. It's immaculate there and the decor is really cool. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! more

I went here for a manicure. Manicures at this salon are double the price at a regular nail salon, so I was hoping for something great....however, what I received was the same manicure that I would get at any other nail salon only here I was paying a lot more money. The girl was nice, but she asked me a lot of personal questions (i.e. where I am from, what I do for work etc.). When I go to a spa, I want to relax and not answer prying questions. I know that some people do not mind this, but I do. I'd say, save your money and get a manicure for half the price elsewhere. Pros: Close to shopping Cons: too expensive for what you receive more

Really nice spa setting, and excellent product selection. Nice extra touches including the massage chairs at the hairwashing stations. I had a good experience with the hair salon. I would recommend Naomi for a good cut. Pros: suburban setting, convenient to shopping Cons: lot gets full fast on the weekend more

I have been searching for a good hair stylist for the past 6 years since I moved to the area. So when Wayside opened up and saw that a new spa opened I was pretty excited. I went to take a look and wow, the place was so chic and very impressive. So I decided to take a chance and book a haircut getting a stylist recommendation from one of the staffs there after telling her my needs in a stylist. Unfortunately Green Tangerine did not deliver. The cut was average and the techniques I saw her used on me made me doubt my stylist's expertise. I guess everything but the cut was great, they have massage chairs while you get your hair washed - it was so relaxing. I will definitely try out their spa services such as the massages but would stay away from haircut unless you know a friend who lucked out and got a good stylist. Pros: Easy access, clean and chic spa, friendly staff Cons: Average haircut more
