Absolutely horrible experience and terrible cleaning job!\r

Crew was scheduled to arrive between 1-4p. They called after 4p and said they could be there by 5p 'would that be ok?'. No that's not ok but my all my furniture was moved and rooms ready for cleaning so I relented. Crew showed up AFTER 5p and doesn't even offer an apology. The reason Rob gave for not apologizing was because I told him it was ok to show up by 5p when he called earlier. What? How about the fact that you were over an hour late just showing up and haven't even started cleaning.\r

As soon as the first piece of equipment was inside my door, the upselling started immediately. Basically they refused to start cleaning until I agreed to pay for pre-conditioning. Rob kept telling me if I didn't do the preconditioning, my carpets would not get clean. What?? I thought that's what carpet cleaners do. And no, my carpets weren't heavily soiled. After arguing for 10 minutes and telling them I want to cancel job and part ways, Rob kept coming down on the price until it was close enough to the coupon price that I said ok. So do these services actually cost the company money in supplies to perform or is it just a profit generator?\r

Oh, and don't forget about the $10 travel charge that was not even mentioned until the bill was wrote up. Also written by Rob on bill in large capital letters 'BASIC ALL THE WAY'. Is that how you treat your customers?\r

Also overheard Rob discussing with his boss in my driveway how they would split the profits from my job. Very unprofessional!!! He also proceeded to talk on his phone the entire time the other technician was cleaning. Basically the other tech Bill did 95% of the cleaning while the Rob took a break. My one positive remark was the hard work and professional matter displayed by Bill. \r

The cleaning? Terrible job. My wife used one of those vacuum looking carpet cleaners and did a better job than their gear. One of the couch cushions they cleaned had a series of washable marker marks on them. After they 'cleaned' it I took a wet rag and lightly wiped the stains off the cushion. My wet rag did what their cleaning equipment failed to do. \r

Also, they will need to use your faucet to fill up their cleaners. Was told they needed 'hot' water so the carpets/furniture would dry faster. Apparently the temperature had nothing to do with the cleaning process. No cleaning truck either, just an car shows up with a bunch of cleaning supply bottles in their trunk.\r

So after this nightmare was almost over, Rob asked me if I could talk with his boss to give my feedback on the job. Rob puts the call on his speakerphone and proceeds to ask me a series of questions. How am I going to give honest feedback with him standing right next to me? I ended up calling his boss Scott later and gave him the real feedback. Scott was very nice, apologized and offered to give me a discount the next time they came out. Although a nice gesture on Scott's part, I will never (repeat never) have these people come to my house again. I would recommend to everyone to start away from this company. \r

My advice to anyone looking to get their carpets cleaned? I know it's alot of work, but do the job yourself. You'll do a better job than these guys and you won't get ripped off by their upselling tactics. \r
