Horrifying. Bad customer service. Bad communication. Shoddy work. Clothes come back still with stains. Requested wet cleaning for stain removal, and they ignored that and did dry cleaning only. Now have to yell at them to do over. Overpriced. Terrible. Waste of time. Hallak remains the best, I will go to them for respectable work. more

This place so badly misrepresents their service that the attorney general should shut them down. I sent my cleaning to them because they advertise environmentally friendly CO2 cleaning. After I got my clothes back (they looked OK) I told a friend of mine who is a chemist where I sent my clothes and he laughed at me. I thought my clothes would be cleaned in CO2 but he explained to me that they are cleaned in a harsh chemical and just DRYED in CO2. WTF! Avoid this place, they are crooks! I have used Green Apple Cleaners a half dozen times since switching from Slate. For men's shirts, Green Apple Cleaners has an option for hand-finishing, which I love. They do a fabulous job. However, of the six times I have sent clothes to Green Apple, they have ""misplaced"" them three times. The last time they lost eight of my shirts altogether and still have not been able to locate them. I'm not sure how this will play out as I am down nearly $3200 as a result, but even if they do locate the shirts I will never use them again. Back to Slate for me. I signed up with Green Apple Cleaners very excited to use an organic/CO2 cleaners. They were very personable and helpful with registering. They sent a laundry bag that was packaged like a present although it was missing my ID tag. On their website it says that if you have a doorman to have them call for pickup. My doormen are used to this so I dropped the bag off in the morning, they called, and they were told it would not be picked up until the next day. When I called to find out why this was I was told that I had to schedule the pickup via the phone or the website a day ahead of time. I explained that that was not clear on the website or in my welcome package but I was anxious to give it another try. They delivered the cleaning the next day but forgot to send the laundry bag. I had to wait 2 days for the laundry bag to be delivered. \r \r I tried to schedule another pickup via the website but the website does not allow you to sign onto your account to do that. I called and left a message on Sunday evening to have my cleaning picked up the next day and also asked for a call back to confirm and find out if there was an issue with the website. I never received a call and again the clothes were not picked up. They were picked up on Tuesday and when I called on Tuesday they were very apologetic saying that that never occurs. I was told that the clothes were scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday. They were not delivered until Friday. This is clearly not the one day service that they advertise on their website. The idea of organic cleaning is great but not at the expense of dependability. Pros: Organic cleaning Cons: Lack of dependability more
