Bowling Alley 7/19/2006

I've been to this bowling alley once with a friend. Its pretty smoky inside which is pretty much like any bowling alley. At night the crowd gets a little wild from all the drinking that they are doing but its a great place to hang out with friends, if you can handle the smoke. In the day its pretty mellow though from what my friend has told me. I'd go back again if I'm in Tyler with some friends. more

I love to bowl and just recently moved to Tyler. Personally, this bowling alley needs some major work. I visited Tyler 10 years ago and it looks (and smells) the exact same. No updates at all. Smoking is allowed so you leave there smelling like a ash tray, everytime I've gone we've had to move to another lane because of some technical difficulties (2 times in a row the lane wouldn't send our balls back), and it's way more expensive than the bowling alley in my hometown (that was really nicely kept). One good thing I have to say for them though is the staff is very friendly. more

Wonderful Bowling Alley 8/3/2005

Green Acres Bowling alley is a great place. The night time crowd is a little rowdy but if you go during the day its quiet. At night is more expensive than during the day. They even have it where on certain days that you rent a lane for so much. The staff is extremely friendly! more
