Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

i like this place.. the interior decor is extravagent and the food is mighty tasty.\r they have two extra long hot bars and one extra long cold bar, then there is a standard cold/dessert bar in the rear next to the ice cream machine.\r \r the food at this place is standard in taste or better.\r most things are above standard while the less popular things are below standard.. and i think this really helps please everyone.\r as a conscious consumer, this place can get totally packed during lunch and/or dinner time.\r so i'm not the only one who thinks the food is worth a visit.\r \r my favorite is the orange chicken and that stuff with the extra phat spaghetti noodles (its dark with few mushrooms and has a world-class flavor)\r i like to get some egg rolls and sweet & sour sauce too.\r then i usually top my meal off with their sliced banana's with cherry syrup and some watermelon.\r \r my body tells me this place serves food a little higher in nutrition compared to some other chinese places.\r \r if y more

I just got done eating at Great Wall and was not very pleased. The sign says seat yourself, so the whole family sat down then the girl told us we had to move so we all had to get up and go through a bunch of crap just to find a seat. I thought $32 for 2 kids and two adults was outrageous for the bad quality food. Trays were nearly empty, food was left out way too long, cold and mostly labeled incorrectly. Even the fruit was flavorless and bland. People were just walking around aimlessly trying to find something that looked remotely appetizing. For $8 per head they should be able to offer a better selection and keep the buffet fresh.\r \r I will never give them another chance, they were already on chance # 2. more

My family has always enjoyed eating at Great Wall, (or using carry-out service) but with the addition of their buffet, we enjoy it even more! Lots of choices, and always fresh. The restaurant is kept clean as well. more

This is definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant! The buffet is out-of-this-world and very reasonably priced. My family really likes the renovations. If it were up to my son, we'd eat there everyday! I would say that the restrooms could use a little extra tending to, but sometimes the public is just not respectful. Otherwise a nice place for a family or casual meal. more

This is a wonderful restaurant. They have a very large selection of food and it's buffet so there's no reason to go home hungry. Someone is always checking to make sure everything is fine and to see if you need drinks refilled. A no smoke place too! PROS: Great selection CONS: more
