i'm _not_ one of those carnivores that go to a restaurant and say they got ripped off because there wasn't enough meat, no. i can pay for a meal at greens in sf's fort mason and not feel ripped off, no. have you been to greens? that's an awesome vegetarian restaurant, and i wish they had something like that down here in the silicon valley (america's _real_ heartland).
well, like long life veggie house in bekeley on university avenue, great vegi land in sunnyvale serves vegetarian chinese food in the buddhist tradition. now, i'm totally _not_ a buddhist, but i guess i don't mind eating their food. ([i] dunno how that's relevant, but ok.) you get fake meat at this kind of vegetarian restaurant. order yourself some fake shrimp, some fake beef, some fake chicken. none of it's real animal, nope! yet it might fool you... just maybe.
the restaurant has many specials that change often if not daily or weekly or something.
actually, i'm not sure if this is a chinese or taiwanese restaurant. does anyone know? i mean, it's not a taiwanese restaurant in that it doesn't serve the usual traditional taiwanese dishes because most of _those_ got plenty of animal flesh, i suppose. however, it's still a question for me to ponder, if you don't.
oh, the place is a bit overpiced though.
