I am a huge fan of their reasonably priced delicious grainy fruity plump muffins, but any of the fresh baked breads will do as well.\r \r One of my favorite places in Des Moines to get fresh affordable bread. But to those with the pallet for nice white bread, you should look at South Union Bread Cafe in downtown Des Moines, and La Mie near 42nd and the Highway. more
