Great Expressions Dental Centers

I havent had much dental experience but this being close to my first, it was HORRIBLE in fact HORRACIOUS..if thats a word. They keep you waiting for sooo long. I had a late appointment so I had to drive all the way from my job in tampa with traffic...made it in time for my appointment and they kept me waiting for ALMOST 2 Hours!!!! while I heard the staff socializing in the background. Also everyone that came after me was seen before me. I was the last to leave...GO FIGURE!.. A total waste of my time and gas.\r Then they tell me that I cant have my service done that day because they had a new doctor and would have a new diagnosis???? ...so I did not get anything done that day. The staff does socialize a lot and they do not seem to know what they are talking about because I called at least 3 times to confirm what I was getting done that day....to come and have everything changed the last minute!! I was even told by one of the staff that they were not sure if the procedure I had scheduled to get done will be done that day because they were pretty BUSY!!! Then why have late appointments!!?\r Worst experience twice in a row...I dont even know why I gave them a second chance. The ONLY saving grace in that office is the Office Manager - Cynthia...who was pretty calm/quiet and does an excelent job explaining stuff and being understanding. Asides that...HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I left there tired..pissed off and stressed. more

If I could've given 0 stars I would've. Setup is awful - wide open, rooms facing windows to main parking in shopping center (if they're tinted, it's barely.) Kids yelling, hearing drills and other conversations between patients and doctors. Staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing, they socialize A LOT while you're sitting and waiting. Dentist was RUDE, not compassionate in any way. The only term for this place is 'fast-food-dentistry' - and it's lousy (that's being nice.) I couldn't wait to get out of that place and I would NEVER under any circumstances go back. I was in excruciating pain when I entered (Dr. still persisted on using her pick to poke and prode even when I told her it hurt like crazy. She got ticked off, and it pretty much went down hill from there.) I was in worse pain when I left an hour 1/2 later and had nothing to go with. They took a few xrays -that was it. Horrible awful place. Atmosphere like highschool hallways during change of class time. No privacy, loud, very noisy, rude dentist...horrible. more
