I used them twice within the last couple of years and from my personal experience I am sure that they know how to satisfy their clients. They have the most efficient movers, smartest sales team and great moving trucks. Most importantly they have the perfect gelling between all of their resources. That is why they are always able to deliver better than any other movers. I would suggest everyone to try them at least once and experience the best. more

After using Great American Moving & Storage, I must say that I have become one of their regular customers. They were involved in my move yesterday, which they accomplished perfectly. It was 100% stress free, smooth and neat. They did not ask for more than the quoted amount, took less time than the initial quote and did better than what I was looking for. I got the best possible service from Great American Moving & Storage. They were just awesome! From the beginning till the end they showed how capable they were. I have never seen such professional and helpful movers before. They were excellent in packing, moving and storing. Movers were very careful with my belongings and they were super-fast. I just loved their way of working. They made the move look so easy, which is a sign of World Class movers. 5 years ago I used professional movers for the first time and that time my experience was simply horrible. So many broken stuffs, stolen items, over billing and delay. So, this time I was very choosy while deciding which company to use. After talking with many moving companies finally it was the sales rep of Great American Moving & Storage who convinced me to hire them. Though they were not the cheapest but I preferred to go with them. Their movers proved me decision right. They arrived on time with a certain moving plan, accomplished the task without a hitch and within the allotted time and made sure that the cost remains within the initial quote. It was a flawless move to Oregon from Washington without any hiccups. Being honest they served me a lot better than what I was looking for. more

If I could give them no stars at all I would. Great American Moving & Storage has a D- from the Better Business Bureau.The company I initially hired for my move subcontracted it to this terrible moving company. \r \r On pickup day the movers showed up early and were were quick, but had a hard time finding a place to park and complained about the layout of the apartment complex. ""Jose"" the moving foreman, tried to cheat me several times by having me sign papers that were not properly filled out, asking me for money that would not be recorded on the additional cost sheet, and trying to get me to pay extra, ""just in case you go over the limit."" Luckily, I didn't sign anything until the goods were in the van. I was told I would receive delivery between the 16-22 of October. \r \r The dates were pushed back multiple times. On the 22nd, ""Jose"" called me. claimed he would be there that weekend, and told me I owed significantly more then what the contract stated. There was no way I owed that much money. Luckily, the company I originally hired to do this actually did something useful and resolved it in my favor. Of course the weekend came and they did not show up, I called GAMS and was told they were two hours away but the truck broke down. A week after I was told this, they admitted they were actually further away the entire time.\r \r The dates for the delivery were continually pushed back, every time I called I would hear a different story. Additionally, GAMS changed their phone number several times during the move, complicating my ability to stay in communication with them. They finally delivered exactly 30 days from the pickup date, the limit that federal law allows. Of course there was another fee tacked on but it was much less then the extra 3000 dollars they had tried to squeeze out of me.\r \r In the end I am more angry about the attempts to cheat me and the apparent inability for them to perform basic maintenance and keep track of their own truck. The fact one of my boxes was moldy and damp and that they broke or lost several other small items didn't help. \r more

My move with Great American Moving & Storage went without a hitch. All the moves treated me and all my stuff in the most professional way thou-out the whole move. All of the belongings arrived at my new home intact and without a scratch. The one piece of advice to you is to make sure to pack all or your knock knacks because the movers will not carry loose items. I don’t plan moving again any time soon, but when the time comes I will be sure to give Great American Moving a call once more. more

After our wedding in Aug, we moved to WA. We didn't even have much time to open our gifts before moving, so we had it all packed as they were in the gift-wrapping and all. Believe it or not, even the crystal punch bowl arrived without a scratch intact. We were so disorganized right after the wedding, but the nice agent that made our moving appointment at Great American, told me to make a master list of box contents and to make ten copies of it so I would always have one if I misplaced it. \r I can’t tell you how this simple list made it so easy to unpack and get arranged. My husband was starting a new job and that helped a lot. Thanks for your personal attention and kind advice. I will definitely call you when we have to relocate next year.\r more

It’s simple, I had a very nice move with Great American moving and I want to share it with others. I called several places before calling Great American. I was greeted with a very friendly & helpful representative. They gave me a price after getting every detail and they came to move me the very next week . 2 really nice guys came out to pack up my home, It was clear that they had their job cut out for them. This was not going to be easy. They were persistent & calm. They took their time to think things through. Very methodical. They were so careful. They were amazing to me. Very strong, & very smart, and very conscientious of their surroundings. I had my things delivered to me last week and was really happy with the service. The whole thing was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you soooo much for helping me out and with such care! more
