Went in for an oil change and a tune up, the price was a little steep but not outrageous, but what WAS outrageous was the complete lack of competence from the employees AS WELL AS the manager. My vehicle ('03 Ford Taurus) went in fine for routine maintenance, came out with the check engine light on and running awful.
I immediately brought it back to them and they told me the coil pack (what the spark plugs plug into) was bad and I needed a new one. I went to go find out about it from an O'Reilly Auto Shop and they told me I do NOT need a new coil pack. Brought it back for a THIRD TIME, once more they looked at it and ""double checked the work""
The next morning, I went into an Auto Repair Shop for them to have a look at it. Turns out that Grease Monkey had not gapped the spark plugs correctly, which caused the entire problem.
This was 100% their fault, they had 3 chances to fix this and were not competent enough to do so.
STAY AWAY FROM GREASEMONKEY.
