I took my ring to Gray and Sons to resize it. The ring was purchased from a well known jewelry company and after 4 failed attempts by that company and 8 months of waiting I finally had enough and took it to Gray and Sons. It took them 2 days and the ring fits perfectly! Great customer service and amazing results! more

Sent my piaget polo to Gray and Sons for a tune up and polish.Upon receipt of the watch in brand new condition, the wife said ""I want mine done"" Needless to say her piaget looks and runs like new. Looking for that special Christmas/anniversary gift I looked over their website after browsing the catalog. Purchased an 8 carat eternity band that I would have never found in Syracuse ,NY . Upon receipt of the ring we took it to the local upscale jeweler we do business with and confirmed it was all of what Gray and Sons said it was as far as cut , clarity and quality of the diamonds and craftsmanship of the bauble. Local jewelers and even some in the NYCity area wanted twice the price to manufacture a similar ring. Extremely happy with Jackie and a jeweler that we have never met. Would not hesitate to do business with them again. more

I was looking for a jewelry store to create the setting for my soon-to-be wife's engagement ring. I found Gray & Sons and was blown away by their service. Keith and Diego did an excellent job and were very understanding and supportive of this important time in our lives. They did everything they could to make this ring as perfect as my soon-to-be wife. They even allowed my fiancée to go into the workroom so she could see how it was all done. We both love Gray & Sons for their high-quality work and great customer service. \r \r Highly recommended, sorry to hear that these other users didn't have as good of an experience as I did. more

I purchased a vintage Rolex from this business the first portion of July. It arrived in what I can only describe as mint condition. I took it to my local jeweler for a verification and he said it was one of the best examples of a vintage Rolex he has seen. I am very pleased with the transaction and the excellent customer service. I am a 66 year old dentist in Amherst, NY. I have been a customer of Gray and Sons for over 10 years and my experience with them has been highly satisfying. I have used them for buying and selling watches, and for watch repair. The have been very reliable, reputable and extremely professional at all times. They are the ONLY people I would ever consider buying a pre-owned watch from. You should seriously consider them when purchasing or selling your next watch! They are the best. more

I spent considerable time looking for a watch and Gray & Sons had an excellent selection. When I visited the store, the service was excellent. Nothing I experienced reflected the poor reviews below. I would highly recommend shopping there because the staff takes the time to educate you about each watch you're interested in. Truly a top notch store. over the last seven years i have been dealing with gray and sons with everything from buying to selling and trading.pricing is reasonable and jackie march has been a true professional.even though i'm from maryland,jackie treated me like an old friend.she knew i was after a cartier phasa and called when one arrived.jackie even covered my shipping expenses when i sent a watch back that i thought suited me but in fact we settled on something that was better suited to my taste.i'm very happy with their service and will continue to shop there for my future purchases.thanks jackie for making me feel special over the years. more

Grey and Sons is great, every time I go in their they know my name, and greet me warmly. Jackie is the best, I got better service buying a used Rolex from her then buying a new Rolex from Mayors. The service on the watches is second to none, and I love their ""New for Life"" program. I am definitely a repeat customer. It is nice to buy from someone that you feel is honest and will make things right if their is a problem. Can you believe it they have a 10 day ""no questions asked"" return on watches. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Went to sell a watch, drove over an hour to get there. Once I was there they took my watch, sat at a computer for half an hour to then come back and tell me that the owner wasn't in and there wasnt anything the could do. Called them a few days later and left a message, they never got back to me. Called again and the owner still isn't in, I asked when he would be back and they essentially told me to call every morning to see if he had decided to come into work that day. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, NO ONE AT THIS JEWELERS ACTUALLY LIKES TO WORK. more

Worst service !! 11/2/2011

Rudest manners on the web. Gray and sons. I assume I got a hold of one of the sons, because if it was one of my employees, all hell would break loose for talking to a client like that. Arrogant, rude and just wanted to hang up on me, I just asked simple questions, he made me feel like I was retarded. FYI time of call : Male Wed 17:25 pm 11-03-2011 9595 Harding Avenue Surfside, FL 33154 Avoid on all cost!! Read some of the other reviews....lol... it doesn't get anymore biased than that. what is it with south florida jewelers? 9/23/2011

dont go to lunch and think about it when you get a quote from G&S! when you return, like i did, you are on the ""pay no mind list"". after i received a quote on a watch, i returned to the store 45 minutes later to sell it. both counter girls were waiting on a party of 3. so i stand and wait. as i watched out the corner of my eye, i could tell they were ""show me this wannabes"". one of the girls walked over towards me and didnt even acknowledge me. ""we will be with you shorty""?? 5 minutes later, a guy from the back of the store walks out right in front of my face, grabs a handfull of candy, says something about it to the 2 girls, and turns his back and walks away. not even a ""go to hell""? this guy buys and sells used jewelry? he's not a surgeon? these so. florida jewelers that deal in high end-used are all the same: arrogant, vultures, or both. i have been selling some estate jewelry piecemeal for a couple years. i am certainly relieved that i dont buy this as a vanity item or (laugh) an investment. i never saw such lack of customer service or apathy towards a customer. 2 people on a floor pawing over the same party? must be nice. more

A dependable business you can trust ? 11/30/2010

I am truly enjoying my experience with Gray and Sons Jewelers (Surfside, FL), after so many unsatisfactory trials with so many firms worldwide (i.e. in Europe, Asia, South America and Latin America). Man, did I ever tell you about their excellent, professional, quick and reliable service?! My lately purchased Tudor watch arrived last month in perfect condition; it is beautiful and exactly as they posted and described. This now makes it my 7th purchase from them, with an Omega De Ville, Ebel, Rolex Datejust, Piaget Classic, Henry Birks & Sons Men's Watch and not to forget my best and favorite Patek Philippe Calatrava. They are all in remarkable conditions and running just fine. more

Honor Integrity truthfull--Are You Insane? 11/19/2010

Where to start? Whatever you do,don't trust this business with your valuables! Everything will be professional until they recieve your jewelry.Promised to respond within 48 hours with their offer on 14 high-end pieces I sent them.Not only has that long passed,but after getting 0 response or call backs from Jackie,evidently even Mr.Gray cannot return a call.Guess he's still in a meeting...2+ hours later.Smells very dishonest to me.Looks like I'll be in Miami soon.Ah yes,now they are closed until Monday,yet they recieved my jewelry Wed. morning according to usps.Beware..Beware....Beware more
