Beautiful place, but as others have pointed out, the individual running Grey Gables is completely unprofessional. I was a bridemaid for a couple at this facility, as well as a guest for another couple. Both couples had terrible experiences.\r
\r
The lady in charge of the place, calls herself a ""wedding planner"" and includes her services in the wedding packages. Instead, she is merely a supervisor. She makes sure that everything goes HER way, not the way the bride and groom desire.\r
\r
-During the food buffet, as the guests were in line, the ""wedding planner"" decided that the videographer should have placed his equipment elsewhere. She took it into her hands to solve this problem. She slammed the lid on the professional equipment, hitting the camera that was inside. As she was doing this, she threw a fit about the way the guests were lining up.\r
\r
-The ""wedding planner"" said negative things about past clients to the second bride.\r
\r
-When the bride made changes to decor, the lady threw fits. \r
\r
-The ""wedding planner"" made comments to one bride about how she will not spend as much time/effort on their wedding because another couple is paying her more money and chose a more expensive package.\r
\r
There are many examples that I can list. Hopefully any potential clients of this facility understand that with the beautiful facility, comes a large pricetag. If you don't mind working with difficult individuals, you will find the place itself beautiful.\r

Currently searching for a place to have a wedding at, I would never even consider Grey Gables.
Pros: Beautiful Place
Cons: Terrible Service
