Gravois Grill

I have had nothing but good experience at the Gravois Grill. The most tender steak I have ever had, if you don't don't like red meat, you can get an excellent Gravois Grill Pangaius ""Grilled Catfish"". If your taste buds aren't up for regular french try the Sweet potato fries. The staff is excellent and does their best to please no matter if it is a slower night or a real rockin' night. After dinner, it is time to move up to the bar, never a reason to be unhappy at the Gravois Grill. more

I've been here 3 times, and every time it's the same. Very few customers and extremely long waits for drinks and food. But, all 3 times, the food was almost worth the crappy service. It has always been outstanding, especially the chips. If they could get new employees and a greater sense of urgency this place would be outstanding. more

Gravios Grill recently underwent a change in management. Out of respect for the new management, the poor dude is being robbed blind!!! Staff pours themselves shots out the kazoo for themselves and ""their fellows"" while neglecting the new blood that would actually represent a margin to the new owners. The kicker was when staff closed down the bar early, while locking themselves in, until closing... because they didn't have enough ""business"". Visit was 2/13/11. (funny how that works... kick every one out and then say ""oh noone is here - show up with key boss..."") I just feel sorry for the new owner because the dude is being robbed blind. My family are all small business owners. And this represents an affront to me... but hell...get in the club and take advantage of the situation! Long story short, very fun place for some; but I just feel guilty hindsight 20/20... The place has a lot of potential! And for the record to management should you read this... it might be more of a training issue than a disciplinary issue! Cheers! more

This place has been a cornerstone of old town Fenton for over a decade.\r They have been lucky to retain the same chef for all these years, He is just superb.\r If you feel you need a national chain restaurant to fulfill your needs for dining then this place may not be for you. But for me every thing from the NY strip to the wings or potato skins or home made chips this place is simply the best.\r Parents will also enjoy that they also have a game room for the kids.\r \r more

So, my mother gave me a coupon for this establishment. This was on 6/30/09. So, me my husband and my two children under 5 decided. On our coupon it said that gratuity of 18% was included. So, after waiting forever for our drinks we finally ordered. I guess the she thought that service was calling us honey and babe the whole time. Well we ate and paid and left. Or so we thought. My waitress then decided that her service included following me out to the parking lot and screaming ""Thanks A lot!!"" So, I went back in and asked her what the problem was. She then said that the gratuity was not included so I felt guilty and gave her $5. Never in my life have I ever had my waitress follow me out to the parking lot to yell at me about a tip. I urge anyone who goes to this restaurant never to get this waitress or she may not be as nice to you as she was to me...lol. Pros: Food was decent Cons: Absolute worse service in my life more
