I booked Crescent Shores Condo Unit N804 through Grand Strand Resort in December 2016 for the month of February 2017. When I checked in, they told me they were doing some work on the building but did explain what they were doing and it should be down in 3 days but they would call me and let me know for sure but they did not. The work they were doing was power chisling all the outside stucco off, grinding, drilling and had ropes dangling from the roof and a power scaffold which would go up and down the building in front of your balcony. I went a week later to complain and told them I would move to another resort because of all the noise all day inside and outside of the condo and you had to leave the condo and could not sit on your balcony because of the noise and poor view. Again they told me they would get back to me with an answer but they did not. This carried on for the month February. Another time the door bell rang and we could not get there in time and a person just walked in to spray for bugs and another time we were away and noticed when we got back that someone had been the condo because it had a new internet router installed. This is bad because how many other times did someone else come in and we leave our items sitting out. I sent an e-mail to them after we got home and again explained all the issues we had and they said they would try and get a refund from the owners but I believe they did not try to hard as the owners were willing to give $81.13 or 4% of the total rental for all the issues we had plus other. I believe the owners of this unit do not care about who rents or if we come back again. Also talking to other people who rented condos there from other resorts were told about the work and it could take up to year to do the work at Crescent Shore Condos. I would suggest not to stay at this place or that unit for a year and maybe use another resort booking company as Grand Strand Resort should have told me about the work before I came and should get back to me when they say they will.
