Best

GP Ford has been my dealership of choice for a few years. I like the atmosphere, staff in both sales and service.

Worst

They called me in because they found my car for sale on Craigslist. I drove 45 minutes one way to get there. Once I was there they told me they wouldn't be able to buy my car beca...

Professional and efficient! 2/8/2011

Everyone at Grand Prairie Ford was so positive and professional. I actually don’t really like car shopping, as it’s usually very stressful for me. The staff at Grand Prairie Ford made it quick and easy, and as low-stress as possible. I will be coming back here when it’s time to get my truck! more

I was excited to find out that they're open until Midnight 12/13/2010

I went to GP Ford to look at a car I found on their website. I was excited to find out that they're open until Midnight since I had after work and had my daughter with me. Plus, the dealership is pretty centrally located to Dallas or FW. From the time when I first arrived to after I purchased the vehicle I had a great experience. The were super nice to my daughter as well. The salesman was really knowledgeable about the car and the financing dept. was very professional. more

Happy Customer 8/26/2010

I have been a customer of Grand Prairie for many years. I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and have dealt with Mr. E. Harrison and several other staff involved in the transaction of the sale of my vehicles both new and used. I was always treated with respect and felt I was satisfied with the outcome each time. I have been involved in sales and my expectation was to be given a good deal, I went in after doing my research and knew the value of the car i was looking for and expected to get a fair deal knowing that as any salesperson that some commission is involved and should be or why would they be in business. But again knowing that I also knew what my limits were and verbalized exactally what it would take for me to make a deal, ,My experience was positive in all three transactions and I would recommend Grand Prairie Ford to anyone. I agree with the above person that unfortunately the negative will be posted far more than the positive and sadly not all true when the outcome is not to their satisfaction. I have had excellent service in all the departments including the maintainece department with prompt followup and call backs to ensure I received excellent service. I have moved long distance from this dealership but still Grand Prairie is the only place I would purchase a car, I feel they rate above others in ''customer service''. I am a chevy man gone ford... Great Job Grand Prairie Ford'' more

Honest dealership 7/30/2010

Grand Prairie Ford is the most honest and fair dealership I have ever been to. I would recommend it to all my family and friends. They shoot you straight from the beginning and come through with everything they promise. With a dealership like this I can understand why Ford is the only domestic car line that is not going broke. We are Americans and should American cars. Good job, a-1 service and the best product on the road by far. Even if you are not close to Grand Prairie it is well worth the drive. Pros: Integrity more

My experience went well 7/30/2010

didn't buy a ford though... I bought a used Toyota. The salesman was good, not overly pushy, and let me inspect the car a lot. He let me drive it, and the entire experience was fine. They negotiated at a reasonable level, and the transaction was smooth. They even mailed us our vehicle tags. We did pay cash, so we didn't go through the finance dept. But the car was great, sale was great. I don't know why there were so many negative reviews. Pros: Relaxed atmosphere more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!! 10/27/2009

Grand Prairie Ford STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! I purchased a 2009 Roush Mustang ($54,000) when spending this amount of money you don't expect to find things wrong with the car like pulling to the left, shaking violently at 60 mph, air condition vent broken, seat had tear that had been poorly patched, rust on chrome wheels, molding coming up, clear coat coming off. I can keep going on and on but to make this story short, I contacted Keith Sheldon (General Manager) and he told me they don't cover warranty work on Roush mustangs anymore even though I confirmed they do through Roush. He sent me to a dealership some 60 miles away to have the repair work done. When I asked Keith If could get a loaner since the car was going to take 5 days to fix everything, he told me that if I would have bought the extended warranty he might have considered it. I asked him if he thought I was ever going to buy another car from him again and he said "no" and I said you don't even care and he said "no" he went on to tell me that he thought I could not afford the car that I bought and that I am just always trying to get something for free. All I want is for my car to be fixed, here we are 3 months later and I am still having problems with the car. Please don't do business with them, you will be sorry you did Pros: None Cons: The whole experience more

Watch out these guys are pros 10/28/2008

I made the trip to Grand Prairie Ford based on an ad in DMN. I?m no stranger to buying cars so I asked question after question looking for the switch and writing my questions before hand. After no less than five phone conversations with Arvin Procter the Event Manager there. I thought I was ready to drive over to see what was really up. I had them run my credit before hand and call me back with an interest rate based on the purchase price of $15K. The rate quoted on two calls was 0 down, 2.9% @ 72 months from Ford Motor Credit. They said my credit qualified me for Tier 1 @ FMC. Asked how many colors do they have ?4-5 this model, 5-6 other model?. I call first en-route Arvin says ?I?ll be waiting?. I get there and he?s gone. Then they take us outside. First thing I notice is we?re on the used car lot ??. I ask where are the new vehicles, ?the special is on these USED rental returns? says the new salesman. They had three only total. Next we go back inside to see the Finance Manger. I ask tell me about the 2.9% @ 72 months with FMC on these 2008 USED vehicles. He said well we can?t get near that with our lenders Chase, Bank One, Wachovia. I said "I?m pre approved by FMC for these terms" and showed him all my notes. He ACTED surprised. That?s a used unit and Ford will not fund that kind of deal. I said I?ve called all these times and asked all these questions and after driving an hour to get here I find I was right after all. There always was a switch in the deal and I found several. Wrong vehicle, missing sales guy (probably was just a call center body used to get me in the door), wrong terms, wrong interest rate, they never even ran my bureau till I was there. THE KICKER: The used advertised vehicle didn?t qualify for FMC?s lower rates after all !!! In a nut shell, Arvin and the Finance Manager (Hispanic Guy ??) are armpit sales guys and need to be removed. Shop & shop before letting any of these dealers corner you into a vehicle. Good Luck! Pros: None here Cons: Con artist hard at work more
