RUN don't Walk from this place. the owner was very cordial and willing to engage in regular chat. The room was as bad as I have ever seen the water was putrid and stunk heavily of sulphur. Numerous light bulbs were blown and it was dark, the sheets on one bed were not changed and still had hair from various parts of someones body all over them. the refrigerator left hand side was full of rust and the entire room looked as it had no improvement since the late 70's. alarm clocks did not work, ceiling panels were falling in. floor was buckling in spots and to top it off the owner made mention that they had problems with a pneumatic nail gun while working on the right hand side of the building ( this is the only spots the boat would fit) I lost both tires on that side of the trailer on the way home. they both went flat within 5miles of each other. more

I made a reservation on Thursday, June 11th for Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th, when I arrived I was told I did not have a room. I was doubled booked. They told me they where sorry that we all make mistakes. I drove a long way to get that kind of news. I was told to try Century 21 and they were very helpful. The only problem was it costs me $300.00 dollars more to stay at a camp they had just renovated. When I told this to Grand Isle Suites they again told me we are so sorry but we can't refund the difference. I was in a bind at the time and had to take what was available. I had business associates coming and had to do something. On Monday June 15th I received a call from Clarence, He started to apologize, then threatened me and called me an idiot if I expected any money to be refunded. Wow, I did not expect that. Anyway, they don't give confirmation numbers, they just get your name and credit card number. I wrote this to help the next person this might happen to. By the way, we did not let this get in our way of having a good time. Cons: You may get a reservation, but good luck if you get a room more
