Great place, truck and service!!! 10/12/2010

I just started renting at Grand Central Self Storage because they are close to where I live.\r The staff there was very professional and courteous. Bill is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Mike talked me into renting a U-Haul truck (which they happen to have there) because I was just going to use my pick up truck to make several trips. I got a 17' truck for a good price, which they discounted from my storage rent, and made only one trip. I would recommend this facility and truck rental to anybody that should need it. more

Horrible customer service 4/19/2010

Do NOT use this place for U-Haul rental. The service is poor- they failed to tell us of a known mechanical issue with the truck we rented, and then were absolutely uncooperative and unprofessional when we had an issue of returning the truck by the stated time due to their scheduling errors. The general manager was horribly unprofessional when we contacted them several hours prior to our scheduled return time to advise that we would not have the truck back on time. Instead of helping resolve the issue he was uncooperative and could not assist and any type of resolution. As a result, the truck was returned on time, but the move was not finished. This company will not be receiving my business again. more

Great service 11/20/2009

I rent a unit from here currently and am so happy I went with GC instead of Public Storage. First of all, GC will match Public Storage's monthly rate and first month free. Bill runs the U-Haul and storage operations and is absolutely the most genuine guy ever. He stayed at least 30 minutes past the closing time, twice, to accommodate my schedule, and was so friendly throughout the process of renting my unit and my U-Haul. more
