I will be quick and to the point. I use Grainger to maintain a variety of elements in the business I own, and there is a recurring problem anytime I need something not in stock; it takes forever to get it. Example; I ordered an element for a heater in my shop on a Thursday, I was told it would be in by Monday or Tuesday...I am now 7 days waiting for the part and I have been informed it ""Might"" be in the next day. I understand weather disruptions, back orders, things happen. What I don't appreciate is 1) Unrealistic delivery dates. If it is going to take a week, tell me up front. But giving me an unrealistic delivery date only exasperates the situation and pisses me off. 2) I might find another option if I know it could take over a week to get the part. Well, I have vented enough for the time being, I hope someone at Grainger is listening.
