Lousy service from Graboyes. 4/4/2011

Grayboyes installed replacement windows about 5 years ago, and after 2 years, one window began to sink in the frame. We thought the house was settling -- we're pretty dumb. After it got really bad, we contacted Grayboyes intending to pay for a service person to come out and fix this and some other things. Fat chance. They made fake promises to come out and never did. Our new contractor took out the window, expecting some kind of structural problem. Guess what? The window had been set in and the screws were still in the plastic bag -- the window was never fastened into the frame, just sitting there. What idiots!! more

Waste of time & money 1/20/2011

Our friend recommended Grayboyes and we were excited that they had special order sized screendoors. The estimate went well and we didn't have any problems until installation. The installer was nice, but old and didn't install the door properly, nor did he clean up after he was done. He left shardes of glass and screws all over our floor. When we called to complain we continued to get the run around and no one called us back for over a month. The door is supposed to be "energy efficent" but since it was not installed properly, the room stayed at a brisk 34 degrees. What a joke! As I type this, the door is still not fixed. We would not recommend this company to anyone. Did I mention we paid over $800 for this door?? more

DO NOT USE GRAYBOYES!!! 8/31/2010

DO NOT USE GRAYBOYES FOR DOORS! I ordered doors in May 2010 they finally came in end of July. Then they were so many damages on the door and trim and I can see daylight through the door and the trim due to poor installation. They were at my house 3 times and job still not complete and now I have not heard from them in weeks. I used them for windows and they were fine but the doors are just to hard for them. They promised to fix everything on Sat. 8-13 when the installed was on vacation. Guess what? Still not fixed a month later. more

Who would think that new windows would change the tone of any house? We purchased replacement windows from this company about 5 years ago and the minute they were installed the whole house seemed to change. The windows are crystal clear, so looking out into the woodsy setting around our home is now quite a joy. We never are thinking about the caulking or the painting or the draftiness of our older wooden windows. The stress is gone concerning the maintenance of our windows. We see the light in new ways. The leaded glass front door casts rainbows throughout our living room at certain times of the day. Installation was done quickly and with master craftsmanship. Customer service is rated at a 10, on a scale from 1 - 10. The products are the greatest. This company stands on integrity and honesty, two qualities we look for in a company when hiring them to work in our home. We have found this company to be the best in the area concerning these products. more
