So, we have been on a mission for an armoire. a piece of furniture that is actually made of rel wood, not MDF and is less than a grand is a rare gem these days. we search high and low (like 3 other stores, i am dramatic). within 5 minutes of entering Gothic Cabinet, we found the missing puzzle piece. our new armoire. yay. hanging space and drawers. real wood! the gentleman was nice and willing to knock a few bucks off the price. delivery was only 35 bucks even when we added a second piece of furniture. more

I needed a bed, I needed it fast and I didn't have a lot of $$. I'd seen ads for GCC and as it was so close to me, I headed over. They were so nice and hooked me right up with a great bed & mattress at a price I could afford. They delivered on time, set up the bed & mattress and took the packaging with them. I'm a happy sleeper now. more

We recently went to Gothic to purchase a kitchen table. We looked around in a lot of stores and most of the tables weren't even real wood, they were veneer or something. We liked the table we found at Gothic because it's real wood more

we recently bought a mattress here and received a free mirror with our purchase! the mattress was a brand name and way cheaper than macys or sears. also... the manager pulled it and had it waiting for us when we arrived. btw: we arrived late and he kept the store open for us! great customer service, great price ... i hope you buy something from here because people should be rewarded for unusually good, friendly service! more

I have had the pleasure of dealing with George with regard to the design, construction and delivery of a new platform bed and credenza for my apartment. The experience was excellent and rather unique. Little did I know when first walking into your store that my salesman would be a talented and energetic CCNY architecture student. What luck! George was immediately attentive and insightful. I explained my needs; George professionally showed me what I watned. His designs took time; talent takes time. George drew and talked me through the process. As an attorney, I fully understand that one can go immediately to the drawing board and satisfy a client's particular needs. On the other hand, one can take time, make changes, think it through, expand the box of consideration - and create. George did just that. George suggested - strongly, I might add, and rightfully so - that I be a part of the process. With each modification to his plans, George insisted that I be informed (both in person and by email), accompanied by George's usual knowledgeable explanations. As the two pieces were being finished, George had me visit your workshop in Queens to review the work. I am more than pleased with the outcome. George was spon on with regard to the design, the dimensions, and specifications. George is proud of his work - and he should be. His ethic and his caring are to be admired. more

We bought a really nice platform bed with storage drawers underneath for our son. The bed is made of plywood with a birch veneer over it. It's quite sturdy and if you don't want it stained the price is very reasonable. Staining it costs over a hundred dollars. But the bed is gorgeous and he's very happy with it. more

This type of furniture store manufactures pieces ready for sale as well as special orders made to one's custom needs. I've bought a custom-made bookshelf and a few stools ""off the rack"" and have been happy with the pieces. more
