SKIP IT, TERRIBLE 1/23/2011

Terrible, terrible, terrible..... I have not ever written a review because I feel that every place can have a bad day. With that said, we ordered the ""Waygu"" burger with garlic fries. The place was empty, only 2 other tables. After 20 minutes, I asked our server where our food was (remember the place was not busy) food should be up in a minute. Finally after 40 minutes, we received our (Waygu Burger)!!!! The burger may have had some Waygu beef in it, however, at best it had 2%... Meat was equal to bad Chuck at your worst grocery store, but at least the burger was warm. Burger came with garlic fries which were ICE COLD. Made a comment to the server, she looked at me like I had two heads. Finally put one in front of her and asked her to touch it, then asked for a Manager. Manager comes over, says the reason our fries are cold is because we ordered our burgers to be cooked medium. I took my napkin, placed a handfull of fries in front of him, asked him to touch them, he would not even at least pick one of them up. Now don't get me wrong, we have all been to McDonalds and have gotten Fries that were old, but at least still warm. These fries were as cold as if they were sitting in 60 degree temps. All that I can say is the New Orleans is full of fabulous food, and this place is one that you SHOULD SKIP, Burger King is way more gourmet than this place will ever be. more

Excellent food, beer, happy hour, and overall prices. 5/25/2010

I ate lunch here every other day while at New Orleans. They offer an extensive menu with loads of delicious food. I've tried at least ten different items and have yet to be dissappointed! The hummus and goat cheese salad is excellent(although I ask for the hummus on the side..VERY important since the plop a ton of hummus right in the middle of the salad), egg rolls, tuna, pot stickers, pizzas, burgers, mahi mahi sticks, jambalaya, and pretty much everything I've tried is great. Pros: Great beer! Great food! more

BEST PLACE! 1/1/2010

My husband is a brewer so naturally we look t0 eat at the breweries. They had the cheapest beer sampler we've ever seen (5.50 for 6 beers) & had the best hefeweizen my husbands had stateside (he's been to germany, austria etc.) if not one of his favorite ever. The golden export though...tastes like bud light piss. All of them well crafted true blue german beers. We eventually oured a glass od the marzen and it was only 4.50 and it was big. Pros: Reasonable prices, great beer Cons: none! more

Good burger/beer option in CBD. Service could be a lot better. 11/25/2008

Knowing this was a chain probably lowered my expectations, but I've been impressed with the food. I've been 3 times on 'work dates', and have been pleased with the food each time. The service, however, was very unimpressive. Speedy enough, but just very disinterested and sloppy. They bring the menu (each time) and immediately ask if you're ready to order(???). Just sloppy, amateurish service. Pros: pretty good food Cons: amateur service. average tasting beer more
