Good Ol' Boys Restaurant

Really awful steak! The dining manger was extremely rude when we requested another steak. It was totally scorched and tasted bitter. We have been customers for over 15 years but we will NOT be returning. I am still shocked at how the manager spoke to us! more

We have been here several times but this past time we had several problems with the steaks.What we are told by the owner cooking it well done means rare..Had to send my wifes steak back twice and then it came out burnt on the third.Also the owner who is also the cook said that our steak we had them bring to replace hers and my NY strip came out rare and bleeding all over, pink the whole way through and the owner said "That's not blood,it's juice"..!..Right and i am the next president..Anyway in closing we were on our way home and my wife just had to call and talk to the owner but got the same cold shoulder "I don't care" attitude from him and to let him know we would not be back and trying to understand why he was being this way since we are business owners also and would never treat a customer this way if they were right or not..So beware!!!.I will say the other times were good...just bad business practice this time.. more

Good Ole Boys is located in Auburn, but a little bit out. It's well worth the drive out though. They have delicious steak and fish, as well as delicious side items to go with them! We have never gone there and disliked a thing. Their service is also top notch with friendly servers! Lastly, the prices are great. You walk out of there paying less than you would a chain restaurant, and having had better food. I would highly recommend giving them a try sometime. more
