I wasted $80 at their competitor who could not fix my Mackie SRM 450 without replacing major assemblies, which was prohibitively expensive The Good Guys, on the other hand, were able to repair the problem without replacing the whole board. They are clearly more competent at diagnosing and fixing complicated circuitry. Not only that, but it was a rush job because I needed it this weekend and they did it! Furthermore, they diagnosed that my woofer was blown and had one on hand to install. The other company (EMI) charged $40 to have someone look at it right away and then another $40 to try some things before giving up. They did not notice that the woofer was blown, so that would have added another $100 to the bill. EMI is probably fine for in-warranty work, I think, but not so much for out-of-warranty work.\r

My Mackie system has been really great for the eight years I've had it so it was nice to get it working like new again. Thanks Good Guys! You are awesome!
